@@RDR911 yes - and the people asking for officials to not be counted as idle villagers don't know what they're asking for. If you're using your officials properly they're never idle. No tax to collect? Oversee something!

yeah people on the forums/reddit say that delhi "can still get sacred sites faster than anyone else" but if you actually time it, they get it at the same time anyway. china/HRE fast castle is 7:30-8 minutes which will be the same time when sanctity finishes. and that assumes you don't put a *single* scholar in a military production building for the entirety of feudal age. and if you don't, you will need more wood villagers for more production buildings therefore slowing your castle time.

It's also bugged so that the research still takes too long. I'm not sure what Relic was thinking when they did that nerf though. Feudal Age sanctity? I can live with that, but the x15 even unbugged? Bruh, that's their main gimmick is the mosque - scholar = fast research speed. Don't fuck with it.

a couple points. In this game, a healthy number of mangos wrecks all of chinas comp except palace guards, going full MaA and not pushing seemed like the big mistake here. But also, remember your university can hold 20 scholars, no mosque spam needed. And by the time you get sanctity youll have quite a lot of scholars, while around a similar time, even fast castle players are just now able to get out religious units. I think there's a lot of potential for Delhi post patch, people are just still in the shock and mourn phase rather than theorycrafting. Btw, could delhi not get relics age 1?

@@yc5117 No relics Age 1 China also has clocktower springalds. Lol. How is a university relevant for when Delhi isn't in Imp? You can't build the uni before then. While I'm researching sanctity and dumping res into scholars, enemy has 2 TC boomed and is dumping res into units, blacksmith upgrades and eco techs, all faster than Delhi. How are you planning to hold half a sacred site again? Exactly what potential do you see in a civ that doesn't get Pro Scouts FC, has to dump 200 wood and 75*5 gold to get anywhere close to decent speed upgrades, has no defensive landmark, has no eco bonus, has no feudal UU, whose tech speeds are just straight bugged

@@krityaan University is relevant bc you were talking about 15x Imperial research speeds. You should still be continuing to produce scholars prior to imperial. Other ages are now faster with less scholars. The rest of your argument completely ignores that Delhi is paying literally nothing for any upgrades, that's quite an eco bonus and means resources are being spent 100% on military and economy WITH upgrades. That's the potential I see. The bugs obviously make this discussion moot at the moment, but that's not really a balance discussion, Delhi just can't be played as intended at the moment.

@@blodypirate1 Turin is a great caster for TW:WH. But his knowledge base does not come close to what Aussie has on AoE4 and in general AoE style RTS strategy.

English is a language notorious for inconsistent pronunciation. I think the confusion comes from the letter "H" being pronounced differently than the "H" in hit or health (points). Also doesn't help that different dialects pronounce things differently as well like the whole herb thing.

Not true, Sanctity allowed you to capture the sites in age 1, but usually by the time the research was complete you would be in age 2 anyway. Not being able to even start the research until age 2 is a big nerf.

@@retnuHDJ I was pretty sure that the tooltip of the tech said that it allows me to capture holy site in the feudal age. Which is as far as I know the second age. I also had the experience that I never was able to conquer holy sites in the dark age. But this could also be, because of the slow research and the fact that I focused on fast castle with Delhi.

Neither civ here was S tier, Mongols were and still are so what are you whining about.
