As a newbie it cracks me up how KZfaq influencers uses the term crash . imagine if the airlines industry used the word crash every time a plane lost 25% of its altitude in turbulence.

market is unregulated i heard about the last crash on my way home when i noticed a guy nearly in tears in disbelief so i glanced at his phone and i noticed he was looking at his invstmnt that has dropped. Hodling in my own opinion is an outdated market approach because it makes no sense to watch your invstmnt lose 95 before going back up.

Newbies and Amateurs always accrue loses because they fail to make various market research, listen to various business/ financial podcast from renowned invstors & business authors esp. Outwitting The Devil by Napoleon Hill who always advise that employing the service of a Invstmnt Advisor & Broker should be the first step for young invstors in order to achieve success in the market which is mostly ignored by newbies and amateur's when entering the financial market.

I got into the market with the goal of making $385K to buy a new home by year's end but I don’t see that happening anytime soon, instead I lost $50k in the past weeks now Unregulated markets needs a good strategy which should not based on optimism, but realism because the price curve is a reflection of market structure not human emotion. How can I get in touch with a Licensed Investment Adviser & Broker any tip or pointer? i need to re-arrange my financial house.

When the institutions miss the boat they bring the boat back .You know majority of the market is owned by some greedy whales who control the market right? They can make the price fall 90% in hours if they want to. They can alter the market, they pay news channels, politicians, KZfaq "gurus" etc. to move the market where they want. we are getting close to the death cross and the question is will the death cross be on our side.

In the "Discounted" column, the "sell" number is 1109.06. I think this is wrong. The correct number is 1275.4 (discounted owner's earnings of the last year x 10). Consequently, the correct "total" is 2336.4 (and not 2170.06)

A business is a an asset . An asset for a financial point of view is a sequence of future cash flow . If someone can estimate those sequences of cash flow and discount them back to an appropriate discount rate this the value of any asset today . ( the tough part is to came out with an acceptable discount rate (r) since you have to calculate risk ) and sometimes the risk in the first two years is different to the risk of the following years. ( you are right Brando the best estimate to calculate the value of an asset is by estimating the future cash flow that this asset can produce and discount them back

Good video. I hear from many people online who need to learn this lesson. The problem today is that all of the stocks that are widely known (including the one on your shirt) are overpriced to one degree or another. There is so much cash flowing into the market that it is very difficult to find a stock that can be bought at any reasonable discount without making wildly optimistic estimates of future profits.

It is very sad if a company is just a money printing machine. Were they ever supposed to provide services just because people needed them? Of course they make money out of it but doing anything just to make money is just wrong.

@@pwells10 Giga Berlin was payed for by the German tax payers, not Tesla. Their subsidy streams are virtually infinite. If the subsidies are irrelevant, remove them.

So intrinsic value means that when you but a company, the investment has to be higher than present interest rate, which is 0 at this point, so unless company is losing money, they're all a good deal.

It depends. If you only want to get minimal return, yes. But then it is better for you to buy bonds. If your expected return is higher, you discount with that. Monish Pabrai is looking for 26% a year.
