Picked up a pair of these calipers from thepartsfarm for $80 shipped. Found rotors on rockauto for about $50/ea. Can't wait to upgrade the brakes on my 2005 coyote swap. The original brakes just aren't cutting it.

Bravo 👏 thank you for sharing your work, do you have to bleed the new front 4 piston calipers any different than the one’s you replaced, cause I herd that there is 2 bleeder valves per caliper (a left and a right or one bleeder valve on the outside of the caliper and one on the inside of the caliper…. But I might be mixing up the 6 piston calipers bleeder valves , but I think it would work by bleeding the furthest valve first , which is the outside valve then the inside valve (the valve closest to the brake pedal ) last , thx again for uploading, cheers 🍻 can’t wait to see more mustang content from your channel soon, good work man!!!

I started with the inside bleeder and then the outside. But going from the outside in would probably be better!

Do you know if s550 rotors will fit? They are also 14 inch they came with the calipers I bought was just wondering if I could use them instead of buying new rotors?

No, I had a set of S550 rotors given to me. The vent setup is completely different and the lug holes are slightly wider

I thought you only needed a washer if you use a S550 rotor and not a GT500 14” rotor

You have to use the washers to center the rotor for the 14" Boss/GT500 rotors. I don't think you can use S550 rotors. When I bought my used s550 calipers, he also gave me the rotors too... And the venting is completely different and the lug stud holes are slightly larger

I wanted a squared fitting brake line that fit the S550 caliper perfectly. The factory one is rounded. Im not sure if you can re-use the factory lines or not, but I decided to upgrade them just in case and be on the safe side.

@@OctaneSlain I’m planning to put a set of these on my 07 s197 and trying do it on a budget so I hope I could use the stock ones, if I do end up using them I’ll let you know!
