I kinda, sort of get the system. The main battery runs the main motor which runs the wheels. But the main motor runs a generator to charge the smaller secondary battery to power the secondary battery so when the car stops, the secondary battery charges the main battery. The problem is that the secondary battery is small amd does not hold as much energy capacity as the main battery. And may not have the discharge force of the main battery either. But it is perfect for backup battery charge for incase there is no charging stations near by.

You need the 12v system still in operation on an electric vehicle. Like the design with the drive motor on top of engine, Still need oil in the sump for crank bearings.

This can be made self starting and self running with the right choke valves, accumulators and shunts.

If there was something bad that would have happened it would have happened during the demonstration the alternator would have already been smoking or the bottom of the engine was smoking but it was running long enough to tell that there was no real issues with it. You need generator secondary circuite for high current and primary circuite for start run on battery set up.

It will take a lot more amps to drive that than the alternator will produce, what would like to know is how they are lubricating crankshaft bearings as no sump oil pump or anything they run dry and pickup within minutes.

Hmmm...No lo seee Rick...Tal vez habría que complementar con generadores de energía eólica frente al vehículo (tipo aspas) para que al moverse se genere energía que se almacene en el banco de baterías, así como instalar un panel solar en el capot y el techo que también recolecten energia y la envíen al banco igualmente. Quitar todo lo que represente peso innecesario en el vehículo para alivianar la carga durante los desplazamientos. Ahí estaríamos hablando de un vehículo autosustentable. En Colombia, Chile y Méjico hay unos proyectos bastante interesantes.

Think of it this way... that crankshaft will not run forever without oil. It has been designed to run lubricated, even if the self charging system would work(it wont but lets say it will) the other moving parts will fail due to friction and lack of lubrication

With the larger pulley on the motor and the smaller pulley on the crank leaves the electric motor a mechanical disadvantage. As far as the alternator out put goes, if it makes back 10%, I'd be impressed.

The motor you're using is consuming 4000 watt hour, (without load because it's not installed in a car) on load consumption would be vary (around 6000 watt hour), And the alternator you're using has output around 2000 watt hour, and to use it's power we need an another set of batteries. So if your car runs upto 60 minutes and dries out 1st set of batteries it consumes 6000 watts but you also get 2000 watts from alternator in your 2nd set of batteries. To run your car again you switch to your 2nd set of batteries which adds 2000 = 20 minutes in your ride but also 1st set of batteries are got charged after 20 minutes which is now charged upto 600 = 6 minutes, Now first 6000 = 60 minutes Second 2000 = 20 minutes Third 600 = 6 minutes Total ride time 1 hour 26 minutes, You get 26 minute's efficiency, Input 6000 watts, Output 8600 watts. . . . . . . . . Lol joking right now it's not applicable,it takes hours to charge batteries and we don't have much good technology in batteries to charge faster than consumption. 😂😂😂

El alternador genera voltaje pero al entrar a producir corriente el alternador se frena aumentando el consumo de las baterías, la cual no puede recargar, porque el consumo siempre será mayor que la producción, esa fuerza opositora se llama fuerza contra electromotriz o ley de lenz.

Podrá ser auto sustentable. El gasto del motor lo genere el alternador. ??

Why put the engine in? That is just adding friction and drag. Then again why not just connect the bulb to the battery that is inside the alternator. Lol. Entertainment at its best.
