Auto Italia, Italian car festival at Brooklands. From Fiats to Ferraris, from Maserati to Mirafiori they’re all here. Established in 1986 as the UK’s first all-Italian gathering, the event has evolved to become the jewel in the crown for Italian car owners and admirers. The unique combination of the track demonstration of selected, special cars, and the chance for owners to drive their own cars up the demanding test hill, is complemented with extensive club displays.

Good Italian car display. I like the Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV, and the black Alfa Romeo 2 door Alfasud.

Nice video chaps. The blue Integrale is a Blu Lagos special edition of the Evo2 and 1/215 produced so slightly rarer than the Giallo Ginestra car next to it.

Thanks for that. Watching and going to car shows, I always learn something! That colour pops even with the camera.

Nice video, obviously there would be a lot of ground to cover, hoping to see some 1970s Fiat saloons, 124/125/ 132/ 130 berlinas etc , admittedly so thin on the ground themselves now.

Martin, me as well, didn’t see a single 131/132 this year, although a couple last year. I tend to favour more accessible cars rather than the Ferraris. Hopefully, we fix that for you at Festival of the Unexceptional this year!

great video, really refreshing to have a video that is not just about the chav motors (ferrari and lamborgini) when we have been to brooklands we observe that most people dont go up the hill to the fiats and lancias. this video shows what brooklands is really about , nice effort

Many thanks Mark, much as I like a Ferrari it’s spotting a Fiat 131, Strada or Alfasud that makes my day too!

Thank you enjoyed this. I always had a soft spot fr the Lancia Monte Carlo, wish I had bought one. About 20 years ago a chap restored one in Malta, with a V6, wanted 13K for it and it sold quickly, even back then.

Chris, we’ve all been there…many cars I wish I’d kept 🤷‍♀️ but a Montecarlo would’ve been great!

That horn on that 500, I love it. I was aware of the mini innocenti but I don't think I've ever seen one in the metal. fiat 130 coupe is another unicorn and interesting history. The Y10 is another car you just never ever see. Now I have seen a few of those Montreal's including a red one who's owner in interviewed last year. They are a stunning car. The Bora next to it though is one of my favourite mid engined cars of all time, probably only second to the Miura in terms of how captivating its styling is. Lancia Thema is cool, as you know I've just been having a look at a Thema V6 only yesterday. Last year I sat in a Restomod Montecarlo. It was nice to see as it tends to be the Delta that usually get that sort of treatment. I still struggle with the styling if the 75 but still a very interesting proposition with its transaxke. The Uno Turbo really has become very popular, I think I may have seen the red one at Festival Italia before. The Fiat Coupe I recall seeing at launch at the NEC and initially wasn't keen on the side strakes over the wheel arches. These cars have aged incredibly well and look better than ever inside and out with its striking coupe looks and body coloured dash insert in most versions. The 5 cylinder 20 valve cars have a distinctive sound while the turbo versions have become very desirable and highly tunable. An LSD is essential to get the best out of highly tuned turbo versions though. Cloudy headlamps and sticky centre consoles along with corrosion just in front of the rear arches are common issues on these cars but non of this is uncommon for cars if that era. That ISO revolta looks stunning. I'm with you on the Lambo, again I think I've seen this one at Festival Italia before. I think this Silouette is one of the later evolutions. Just like the countach the styling evolved over the years. Was that Seat Camper at the NEC back in November? Always nice to see a MK1 Punto and in ELX trim too. My Aunti had a 55S three door. I really like those old Tipo, especially those sporty three door ones. I think.some of them may have had digital instruments. Again that Strada I'm sure I've seen on the show scene, possibly the one who:s owner I've interviewed. My Aunti had two 126's, a model A air cooled and later the water cooled BIS hatchback. The polski fiat 126 is often referred to as a 126p or Polski Fiat. I believe production continued much later in Poland. The yellow Delta is such a unicorn, only ever seen it on YT The Gamma coupe I think.has a hint of Quatroporte in it's styling. I know someone who bought a Tempra, I was actually more impressed by him owning that than I was his modified Abarth. I remember those 695 revale with the two tone blue/silver paint and gorgeous blue leather interior. All the ones I've seen have a carbon dash but I think a wood dash was an option. How much do I really want a Fiat/Bertone X1/9. 😍 I remember the FWD, LHD only Fiat Barchetta being on sale here the pre facelift ones are a very pretty car. Love the 308 GT4 which screens 70's supercar. Alfa Giulia SS and sprint are beautiful cars. Those GT Juniors cost more than an E type in period. Not the case today but still a very valuable car today. The early spiders are nice, boat tale are priceless but even the cantail is a stunning car. The Peugeot back then wee known for being rugged so the 504 estate was probably a great car for the purpose of a cycling event car. I think.the 400 GT possibly was Lamborghini's first car. That Fiat 600 looks to have such a tiny footprint for the type of car and looks exceptionally cute. Alfa Giulia looks superb, I too am most used to seeing them as police cars in the Italian Job. Fiat 238 camper looks to be the perfect vehicle for a car show. Another superb video Simon, well done!

Thanks Mark, the surprise of the day was that 500 Abarth Rivale, I’d no idea how lovely they were instead and I totally get why people like them now. I lost count of the Ferraris but my focus I always on the more accessible and left field cars to be honest. The 504 estate was the second cycling tribute car in as many weeks, not surprisingly they’re both in the same club!
