Not saying there was an inside type of job here, but the car was located 100 metres away from their HQ. At the very start of the stream, I checked where the HQ of Autotrader was, and thought, "They won't will they..." and the very first picture clue of the skyline around the area, revealed their office. I turned off then, as it became obvious it was not nationwide at all, and was logistically easier to just plant the car on their doorstep.

I saw that early too. On the one hand, it's a bit disingenuous to "hide" a car in what is practically the staff car park. But on the other hand, it's roughly in the centre of England, and where else do you pick? You upset someone no matter what you do. For their first major giveaway, I think it makes sense to lower the risk and gain experience, so they can do something more exciting next time. It was a good shout picking somewhere under cover too! Maybe not actually opposite the office would have been a little more genuine though 😅

@@FreQ135 yeah, your never going to please all. Perhaps a better format would be to stick it in a long stay car park, with cameras rigged, and reveal clues gradually over a period of time. This way for autotrader it becomes more than a one off event and keeps the event alive longer. Or perhaps, reveal the car immediately and the hunt is for the keys, that are easier to hide, in a longer format also? That way it could be truly nationwide.

What a absolute joke I was on the train from stoke on trent to piccadilly Station I have now spent my last £25. I needed this car for my work, which is Uber. I have been renting a vehicle broken old skoda octavia which is in the garage everyotherweek. At a cost of £150 a week. The people I rent of talk to me like I'm dirt on there shoes. Really hurts man. I really needed this vehicle your competition is a joke.. please don't get peoples hopes up and then throw them to the floor. I have been entering your competition from day 1...
