Maybe stop to explain why the tool was needed. Because the tailstock or turrets will to a better job. So i don't actually know what you are trying to achieve

My lathe also has a milling table. Short and thin drills do not reach to the lathe chuck. It's an improvement for my lathe and probably for those who have lathes like mine. Thank you for your comment !

Or just extend the arbor for the tail stock....
