I have a question about my 3 2011 Hyundai Elantra 2.8L. Well I'm having issues with my Elantra dying after about 10 minutes of running. I've replaced the Fuel pump, fuel filter, coil packs, and spark plugs so far. And I'm trying to figure out how to do a Fuel Regulator now. But do you have any advice about what may be something wrong with my car?

After changing the knock sensor do you need obd tool for any settings?

I was able to replace the knock sensor in my 2013 Hyundai Accent without having to take off the intake valve. I went under the car and since it's so tight under there, it's best to use a 12mm wrench. I tried to do it with power tools and they could not fit.

Mechanics tell you they need to remove the intake manifold, but you don't need too. I agree with your comment. Easy replacement that will save you a lot of money.

Hi I have a 2013 Elantra GSL and my problem is that the check engine comes on already few times but last a short time and goes off. But before that happe nds is the idler goes up and down and if I turn a/c off and stops. Have you encounter this before. Thanks drop me a line

My mechanic replaced my knock sensor and took the car for a road test. The car was riding rough. They opened it back up and told me a piece of the aluminum gasket broke off and bent the valve. Does that make sense to you?

I have the same 2014 elantra engine, 1.8, it does not start I get code P0017 crankshaft correlation with cam shaft sensor, bank 1 sensor b ...... change the two and apart from the crankshaft and nothing, change chain and belt of time with tensioner and guides and nothing, buy a full gasoline pump and nothing, I do not know if I will see the map sensor or the oxygen sensors if they will have something to do with it, because it starts forcing and if it does it crawls through the throttle body, because I accelerate it and after a while it turns off, the vvt valves were also tested outside and they start are fine and the problem is the same .... help me

NO VERY COMPLICATED TO REMOVE? ARE YOU NUT? We have to remove a thousand parts to get that simple and stupid sensor.
