Autumn Fall Color Extravaganza - Missoula, Montana MT.
Every autumn we celebrate the beauty of fall colors. Join me as I stroll downtown along the Clark Fork River, the University of Montana residential district, my own back yard, Kelly Island Park, Fort Missoula and McCormick Park. The foliage seems to come alive!
This video was captured with a Canon Vixia HFS-100 camera and edited with Adobe Premier Pro 6.0.

I used to live on Kent Street near UM with Norwegian maples and even oak trees everywhere that had incredible Fall colors. . Missoula has the most beautiful variety of trees anywhere in the state. I live in Bozeman now where autumn is pretty drab. Sure miss Missoula.

I want to move to the beautiful Montana so bad. I have lived on Long Island, New York my whole life with the dream of a move to your amazing land. One day I will move to Montana :)

I lived down the valley just 20 minutes south of Missoula for 10 yrs. and LOVED IT! This side of Montana (western) is the prettiest and friendliest of all Montana. The Bitterroot Mtns., glaciers, Yellowstone are the best! The people are so nice and friendly on the western side of the state although I have recently been told there is now a lot of crime as with everywhere due to the economy. Always been a bad alcolhol & drug problem there too which has only gotten worse. A lot of car accidents that are alcohol related (more so than what you will find elsewhere with little done about it).

I lived in 4th ave so. as a child, I remember those beautiful maple trees with the sunlight shimmering through them, as kids we walked all over that city, no worries, we were always unattended it was great being a child in the 50's, our parents never knew where we were. Saw many a movie at the Wilma. My Father worked for the Milwaukee R.R. I miss the old Milwaukee depot, rode the train from Missoula to Lewistown , from Lombard to Missoula and Butte. Thanks for sharing

James, I need to make a trip to your side of the country one of these autumns. Your natural hardwood tree leaves must look fantastic this time of the year. Yes the autumns here can be quite a spectacle . Every year is different . Sometimes depending on what the weather was like there are bright pinks yellows reds orange etc . Its usually a rainy late summer that causes it I beleive .

Hey Dave, nice video. Your photography, editing, and choice of music are superb, as usual. Down in Wyoming we have colors like this, but you have to be quick to see them because the wind blows them to Nebraska in less than a week! LOL

great video.I always wanted to visit Montana in fall season. have seen many pics and some vids from this beautiful state but I'd like to see it in person.

+heilamessy Montana, like a lot of places, is special. I have lived in western Montana for 45 years now and certainly do not plan on leaving soon! There are too many beautiful scenes to capture and share on KZfaq! My channel has approximately 100 Montana videos, from ghost towns to spectacular scenery. Thanks for watching and commenting. Darin, I believe you can download KZfaq videos if you subscribe KZfaq Red. If not, third party apps are out there to capture KZfaq videos. I have never tried an app to download a video since I just use KZfaq to upload my videos. Sorry I am not more help. Dave.
