I started this painting with the assumption that it would look more like fire. But after I completed it, I feel like it looks more like Autumn fall leaves. I have no red, orange, yellow in my home: I am a cool color person. But I am enchanted with this one. I looked at it again… and I think one of the things that make this so successful is that part of it is more solid ( negative spaces) and then you have the lacing and cells … so it gives a break and not makes it not so busy Beautiful & Vibrant!

Know its gonna be a good video when it opens on someone doing the carlton. This turned out so much better than I was expecting, especially how the lacing and background really made the gradient pop. Really glowing painting! Also idk, this is just a suggestion, but for halloween colors people do a lot of candy corn, but what abour witchy colors! Purples and blacks and silver, maybe some bright greens! The spooky colors. It'd be really cool to see a painting like that!
