4DX all the way!I loved getting sprayed with water and smelling the rain forest & ocean! It was absolutely packed both times I went, and EVERYONE was laughing and having a great time (you can’t fall asleep) It’s a must! I know most people might not have the luxury of having a 4DX theater and may have to travel to get the experience. But it’s worth it ( marvel movies are also a must in 4DX)

I saw it in IMAX 3D, and it was beyond amazing, but 4DX sounded great too.

Saw it in both formats and would recommend IMAX 3D. Much easier to enjoy the film imo when you're not constantly moving around in your seat. 4d feels more like a gimmick than a movie experience imo. Both are awesome but IMAX 3D allows you to enjoy the film to the fullest extent and is the way that the film was meant to be seen.

Watched it in IMAX 3D yesterday. Definately better than 4DX.

It would be INSANE if one day they would build and imax 3d theatre with 4dx seats and effects

Watched it in 3D and it was amazing.

I loved the jumpscare near the end where I have a healthy son who looks up to me and relies on me for everything.

The reality of the film is such that you forget that for the most part it was done by computer technology. All as in reality! God, how beautiful and wise the peoples of Pandora are, I envy them and also want to live among them.

WE watched it in 4dx it was amazing we could feel the wind and water

I'd say both would be really great!!

IMAX 3D 🔥🔥🔥

Guys, me and my girl just watched in 4d yesterday. Please don't watch it if you have motion sicknesses and also like everybody says it's a bit distracting for a first timer.

Compare to 4dx . Imax3d is best option to feel the story. I tried both.

as someone that wears glasses, ive never been able to enjoy a 3d movie properly

Saw it for the first time in 3D-4DX and that was one of the most immersive experiences I have ever had in a theater. Went 2 days later and watched it in IMAX 3D. Great experience as well.

I want to watch this movie and IMAX 3D but I would recommend 4DX it would be more fun and entertaining

4DX FOR SURE, I saw the movie tdy itself in 4dx and I can tell u ki 4dx ka mazza aur kahi nahi aata, I mean u have sooo many effects and features ,it feels like u are present right there in the moment

4dx was cool but it wasn’t as good as an experience with Spider-Man though (the seats moved way more ).

saw it in both the formats 4dx and imax 3d and would personally recommend one to go with imax 3d, the use of 48 fps in Imax made the movie a different experience

Proof that IMAX 3D’s water while everybody’s watching Avatar 2 only in UAE didn’t make everybody wet, just because the entire screen for the water jumps out of the entire IMAX 3D screen, just because it’s a IMAX 3D version.

I saw in 4DX first then 3D(cinemark) the second time, I love them both

I really wanna see it in 4dx but the closes one is about 75 miles away. For now, IMAX 3D should do it.

Saw it in both, 4DX is like a Disney ride, and I love roller coasters. It was awesome.

I watched twice in both cinema. Go with IMAX. It’s more relaxing. If you wonder how it smells like in 4DX.. well in the forest and in the water got the same smell. Something like purple orchid but sweet.

DOLBY 3D and that format was chosen for critic screenings. I am going IMAX for a 2nd viewing though and then back to Dolby for my 3rd and final viewing before its taken off those screens (Ant-man 3?)

I'm pissed I didn't see this in 3d which is why I'm going to see it again believe me I would of but my family were seeing it and didn't like 3d and I prefer to see films with people because it's more enjoyable but man while watching it I was thinking this is going to look incredible in 3d cause the 48 frames it was shot in looks weird in 2d and really does stand out every now and then it didn't Ruin the experience cause the movie was still great but man I need to go again

I saw it last night at a special underwater theatre where we had to put on scuba gear and watch the movie at the bottom of a gigantic swimming pool, and it was amazing, like It even had aquatic fish swimming around...the only downside tho was my popcorn was all soggy.
