At first when Avi said he was leaving Ptx I was heartbroken, but now I think it’s the best the he could have done. I’m loving Avi’s music he’s been releasing! I cannot say how many times I have played my playlist of folk music I’ve created and the majority of it is Avi’s music!! I have found I cannot get enough of his music and every time he releases a new song my inner self does a little happy dance for joy!! Excuse me now while I go put this song now onto my playlist and listen to it on repeat till I get the words memorized!

Same here. And PTX has suffered for it both in musical and performance value However, having new music to listen to from Avi is like ear candy and I cant get enough. Change on the Rise … well everyday, all day OMG Just cant get enough.

My son is a baritone-bass. He's usually a very quiet, reticent teenager, but when he sings, he comes alive, his emotions show, and those "still waters" that run so deep geyser out for everyone to see. Avi's music is some of the rare music that is in his range, and he can actually sing at some of Avi's lower registers! But more importantly, he can express his feelings by singing what Avi sings. It moves me beyond words when this quiet boy puts Avi on the TV in the living room and belts out those deep notes with him. Thank you, Avi, for helping a quiet, thoughtful boy find himself in your music.

I love the raw vocals. You can really hear the quality of his voice. There’s not too many instruments to distract from the vocals, it’s so unique. Amazingly done. I love the song. Much love! ❤️🌻

I Agree he has raw talent for sure. However, I wouldn't discredit his experience and training in the art of mocking instruments. I've trained for 2 years and can't do half of what he can do

There is nothing unique about this though. This is a bayou country sound from the vocals, pitch, to the few instruments involved. It's typical and average. I expected a bit more uniqueness on a writing level from Avi.

I will admit that he's not pulling any A1s or G1s out of his ass or going complete tenor 1 on us. However, I personally yould say that is where the beauty lies... Sometimes simple and subtle is more beautiful than extreme. We all know this man can do marvelous things with his voice. However this approach requires a different ear than normal.

I am so glad Avi decided to step away from PTX. He was brilliant in the group but now he is able to let himself be free so that his voice can soothe and heal the souls of us all. Amazing!

Matthew Robison This is a lot closer to Mississippi style blues. Broken Bones by Kaleo has a similar feel to this song. Definitely more blues than folk though.

They explained that the ladies shavers looked pretty but weren't any good for her lady beard so they got her a gents shaver. I was so envious! I wanted to have sons as a grown up so they would give me a real shaver when I grew old and moustachy! 😂 Enjoy!🤗

I have a violin festival and a debate tournament on the same day a week from now, an hour drive away that I can barely make it. I though about giving up one of them because I was afraid of the stress.
