My mom was diagnosed with a tumor in her brain in October 2019. 3 days before thanksgiving she was starting to pass music was the only thing that comforted her. one of the last things she said to me was that she was not ready because she was worried about me. I played and sung this song to her. It was a comfort for her and me in one of our last moments. Thank you Avi for singing this song. She loved your voice and your songs.

Moon this broke my heart I lost my mom 11yrs ago to brain tumor when I found out about it I sang everyday I was leraning Shadow of The Day by Linkin Park was perfecting it so I could sing to her She passed befor I perfected. Music was something she and I always found comfort in

@@SolennBreizh Yes he does. I saw him live and he absolutely does sing the low notes. He has to rely on band members to carry the upper layers but you will certainly hear lots of low notes from him.

I sometimes daydream about the perfect life. Lush green forests, a warm sun, the smell and sounds of nature. A world with no politics, no troubles, no violence, no cares, just pure bliss. This song is the muse to that dream.

@@bextra9824 That's not exactly accurate. He was given several opportunities to display his unbelievable talents and he did. The nature of a group/band is that each provides their skill within their role. To that end, Avi did *everything* he could as the bass singer to support the group as a whole unit. Pentatonix did NOT hold Avi back, in fact it was his springboard.

What a beautiful song that just touches the heart. It makes me want to go out and walk the trails of the mountains and trail the river down yonder. When I was younger, music used to be the reason I lived day to day and was one of the ways I would relax. This song specifically speaks so much directly to the soul and it just makes me feel so nostalgic. Like I've heard it before, not through music or words, but through nature itself. I can hear the cool, crisp wind whistling around me and can feel the leaves beneath my feet every time I listen to this song.

What a disrespectful way of contacting fans: disrespectful to both Avi Kaplan that you are impersonating and to the sincere, honest people who have used the original KZfaq channel of the creator, to express their love to his music and hard work. Imposters accounts opened: with a stollen profile photo and a fake email, directed at female fans who have commented 2-3 years ago. That particular one is registered on October 30, 2022. The same (or a slightly different message as a reply): copy-pasted. The channel is reported to KZfaq over breaking their policy that prohibits impersonating.

Beautiful music, as always, Avi. Reminds me of the nature songs that John Denver used to write and sing. Makes me want to just get out and relish the beauty all around me! I have had numerous physical challenges and it's been pretty defeating. But, I WILL get by, with God's help. Thank you for the inspiration! God Bless You, too!
