Noted front of house engineer (and Avid consultant) Robert Scovill takes editor George Petersen on a detailed tour of the VENUE | S6L large-format sound reinforcement mixing system in this exclusive FOH-TV video. Designed for professional live sound, the new digital audio console was unveiled during NAB 2015 and Musikmesse ProLight+Sound and incorporates onboard Pro Tools, powerful signal processing plug-ins, high channel count and fast, flexible workflows.

It would be great if the FOH TV logo was in the upper right hand side of the screen instead of blocking the view of most of the console most of the time lol.

Only one custom layer? ONE? I mean, why? With 24 faders on that frame, with say, 100 inputs in use, why would I only want one custom layer? They've added everything else, why would you limit that? Give me 3 or 4.

Far more than one user definable layout, the system was temporarily hard coded with one custom layout for the NAB and PLS demo.

lol awesome overview of the console and detailed info of layout and functionality... too bad its only good as an audio tool and not a visual aid of the layout... guess they want us to use our imagination for that part :-/

Wow what terrible camera work. How about an overhead view so we can see what he’s actually touching on the console. I feel like I’m looking through a 5 year old kids eyes who can barely see over the console surface. If his hand is touching something on the console, don’t show his face, show the console. Don’t care what he looks like. This is about sound.
