And Google, basing all their place names and shit off of current puplic maps, said it existed (even tho it didn't) and thats why their was for a time, a black void on google. The thought it was actually there but the satelite glitched or something and didn't actually get an image of that location. After this happening again, they looked into it and found that the island does not and mever has existed.

Even if this is real, it is likely due to some tidal shift which eroded the island away. Then google just updated the picture. I actually have a beach house and the terrain around it looks drastically different than it did just 2 years ago, with new creeks, lagoons, and even small islands forming where there once was nothing

the island that keeps not showing up on maps is one of a few islands in the same state, it is either: the one that never existed at all and was a clerical error from the very beginning being perpetuated to extend fishing rights the one that has been eroding steadily since it was discovered and it legitimately no longer exists because the ocean currents destroyed it the one that periodically sinks and surfaces but is disappearing because of rising sea levels
