The main thing is in understanding how to minimize this and make the adjustments necessary when it does happen. There are not necessarily "right vs wrong" ways when it comes to most things in combat, only a matter of what is right or wrong for you.

Hi, thank you for the great tip never thought about the foot positioning and its role in regards lowkicks, but makes sense of course. Will try to keep an eye on that in sparring.
