AW169 start-up, pre-flight checks and take-off

Back on board the Agusta A169, follow the pre-flight test start-up procedures and finally enjoy the flight in the skies of northern Italy on this not too cold winter day. The camera sadly didn't help me this time, stopping recording for no reason on multiple occasions, but at least it recorded radio communications as well.
As always, I will try to answer all your comments and curiosities. There is always something to learn.

spettacolare vedi le cose da un altra prospettiva da lassu posso chiederti la velocita massima che raggiunge questo veicolo e i consumi

In crociera raggiunge circa il 140/145 nodi circa 260km/h e consuma poco più di 300kg di kerosene all'ora

Bellissimo...la domanda però che mi viene adesso è questa. Non sia mai, ma siamo umani: se ti dovessi sentire male che so un giramento di testa o altro, alla scuola vi addestrato anche per queste situazioni? Puoi atterrare velocemente? Cosa si fa in questo caso?

Purtroppo il malore può cogliere chiunque in qualsiasi momento per questo è buona norma volare in due quando possibile. Alla scuola si affrontano alcune nozioni di primo soccorso e medicina base. Insomma ci preparano a essere consapevoli delle proprie capacità in modo da riconoscere se si è in grado di svolgere il proprio ruolo in sicurezza

Hi sir. Excellent video. Thank you for sharing. I have couple of questions about AW169 or 189 (if available)? Q1: Could you share detailed video about the Autopilot Test? Q2: When the engage the Autopilot, SCAS LVDT bug indicator is moving little bit in AFCS Actuators Synoptic page? Can you see any offset in SCAS(linear actuator) LVDT bug indicator?

Hi berkinan, thanks for the questions I will try to reply to you as soon as possible with a video of the autopilot test. I can in the meantime say that the autopilot test has changed a little bit from earlier phase to the actual helicopter phase 8. Now the autopilot test is faster and the synoptic page has changed a little bit too. You can see in the synoptic page the scas indicator moving.

@@JacopoTomasoni I can't see clearly the synoptic page in this video for after the pf-test completed. Can you record the video by holding the camera closer to the synoptic page? Also, it will be great to watch the Phase 8 autopilot test. I'm looking forward. Thank you sir. I wonder following 2 points: (please record sir) 1. New autopilot test sequences (phase 8) (LVDT motion and test sequence) - I can see clearly from synoptic page. 2. When the pf-test is completed successfully, AP1 and AP2 will be engaged. When the AP1 and AP2 are engaged, are the LVDT positions exactly aligned with the centerline of FWD MRA AP1(2) section?

Around the sky of Italy and Europe.... H160 not yet but seen at a presentation. Curious about it.... there's good things and bad things as for any new helicopter. The company I work for is about to buy some H160 I will try to bring news as soon as possible here on youtube but for now I still prefer the A169

Greetings! Me and a group of people are really searching for someone that can 3D scan an AW169 model. We are looking to implement the AW169 to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Is this possible for you maybe?

I don't think that i have the knowledge and the tools to 3D scan the helicopter. I don't know if I'm allowed to do that either. Could be possible maybe with the permission from Leonardo Helicopters

Mi dispiace ma essendo la telecamera collegata all'audio della radio dell'elicottero ci sarebbe stato soltanto silenzio che avrebbe reso il video noioso. Per motivi tecnici ho quindi aggiunto la musichetta. Mi dispiace
