Hah, I love how descriptive you guys are! Truly. I think Marisha does kick ass, but like any girl who loves variety, she will sometimes change it up. I am super tomboy, don't let my profile pic fool you. But on occasion, I will absolutely put a skirt on, and wear sleeves in winter, or a sweet leather jacket. (But sweater vests should die a fiery death. It's time. Uggs too. Oh, and men...your Speedos are unholy inventions designed to accentuate your floppy dongle and his sack of junk...and I am so done with those things. Your penis is a cosmic joke, created for the soul purpose to torture and control you. Anything else you believe about it, is simply just a means to justify an otherwise highly inconvenient need for procreation, which is vital for human survival, but ultimately unnecessary when you can just harvest it and store it away for later.) Cranes are a symbol of peace, and are thus often seen at war memorials.

@@lancel.3897 There is this story about a girl who was in a hospital in Hiroshima after the bomb dropped, who started but died before she could finish. Since then the peace memorial in Hiroshima gets cranes from all over, from school classes, kindergarten, etc. They place these cranes around the "children's peace monument" a statue of a girl with a paper crane.

Best thing about BootieMashup Fridays is Matt's drunken heartfelt ramblings on chat. That channel was a godsend (thanks to Matt and Marisha) during the early days of quarantine. Also, about 95% of the new global audience are Critters :)

Liam being mystified at the idea of an inflatable above-ground pool at the beginning is adorable for some reason. Being a Midwesterner, that's 90% of the pools around where I live, in-ground pools are for the rich families.

It's really nice to see the cast just hanging out. All this is is a couple of friends hanging out in a weird time, that just happens to have a few thousand people watching. It's super awesome to see. Edit: I also think I remember the thousand origami cranes arriving in the very early episodes. That's cool to see they kept it! Does anyone know who folded all of them?

C1, episode 50. They had a big Critmas run and they were given a massive box of origami dragons by a critter with friends. I guess these are them? The reason for gifting was that they wanted to give something, and the reason was as such they mention in this video. When gifted a thousand paper cranes, you get a wish. The timestamp in that video for where this is opened is 4:28:43. I watched this video yesterday, so it was still fresh in mind.

Are we sharing cool facts? I've got one: There is a microbe named Pseudomonus Syringae that lives on plant leaves and tree canopies. This little bacteria has tiny spikes all over it that catch water out of the air and hold it in the perfect orientation to form ice crystals. When the wind picks up over forests it catches lots of these bacteria and carries them into the stratosphere where they literally gather water and ice and form clouds, rain drops, and hail. Pseudomonus grow particularly well on tea plants, so tea plantations will often have huge thunderstorms downwind during windy times of the year. This little bacteria is supposed to be the most common rain nucleation particle over continental landmasses, and is directly responsible for most of the rain that falls inland (I've seen some variation in the estimates, but I've never seen a calculation attributing less than 60% of continental rainfall to the environmental effect of Pseudomonus Syringae). Also Pseudomonus Syringae Americana is a man made genetic mutation of the original bacteria. It was essentially blasted with radiation to see how it would react, and the scientists ended up with a strain of the bacteria that was perfectly smooth, and instead of catching water and forming ice it repels water and interferes with both ice and cloud nucleation. It was the very first genetically modified organism to be released in the wild, and is used particularly in California to prevent frost from blighting strawberry crops.

The world is such a strange place. They talk about resurgence, while I sit in a flat in Austria on two weeks of vacation and you see NOTHING that points to a pandemic going on. No one is wearing face masks, no one is paying attention to social distancing. It is unnerving. And in two days I'll be back to Germany and have to go back to observing all those precautions. Surreal.

I agree, it's completely surreal. All my family is in America. And when I call them, they talk about how they're still stuck in home after months, weathering resurgances and attempting to work around all these restrictions. My mom's lucky to have a desk job. Meanwhile I'm in New Zealand. When I ask people how they're doing, hardly anyone brings up the pandemic anymore. There's no soical distancing anymore. So few people wear masks. I work at stadiums during rugby games sometimes.

Quotenwagnerianer we had that in Spain for some time... Some regions were “free” of the virus, while others were confined at home. Now that the second wave has arrived, we’re all getting confined again or forced by law to wear masks. Just bc people didn’t follow either the law or the recommendations for weeks. At least we have these goofy people to brighten our days a bit

As an Austrian I might add, that some of us would be actually VERY glad, if people would pay more attention to social distancing, wearing masks in crowded places etc. But just in like many other countries (I guess), we have quite an amount of self-centered dumbf---s who just don't care, if we face another spike in infections etc. Personally, it makes me angry - very.

@@OrcishMajorJohnson Ich war gestern auf einer Alm. Das Essen musste drinnen stattfinden, weil das Wetter so schlecht war. Kleiner Wirtschaftsraum, viele Gäste, keine Masken, keine Abstände, Fenster zu. Am Tag davor in der Apotheke war ich der einzige der nach Vorschrift eine Maske trug, weil man uns gesagt hat, dass das beim Arzt, bei Behörden und in Apotheken noch gilt. Hält sich hier um Imst und Oetz keine Sau dran. Nur in der Kabinenbahn in Zamst hatten sie alle eine auf.

Times are hard. And honestly I'm content knowing that people know how hard it is during these times. I love you guys, you understand what the isolation means for a lot of people and all I can do is tell you, you aren't alone. It will get better and hope you are all well

I thoroughly enjoy the cast of Critical Role. Having just now caught up on Campaign 2, watching them and learning from them how to be a better DM/player, and watching these extraneous shows has only solidified that love. After watching AWNP unP I've learned that many of my own world and political stances both coincide and differ greatly from their's. That being said, never have I seen people tackle topics such as these with so much respect, understanding, and maturity as them. We certainly don't think the same, but I can't help but want to learn from them so as to mature my own perceptions. Thank you, Critical Role, for your unending reserves of patience and love.

/Matthew game rage part/ honestly when I picture game rage throwing controls do come to mind,, but Matthew is just so sweet I can't see it like,, his occasional "children...," Moments, but then she says he's basically the "silent rage quit" type and that's still kinda sweet and fits him so well /moral of the story, Matt is even more favorite "cast" member/

Switched from the podcast to YT for this episode cause Marisha’s sound on podcast has a bit of a background noise on it and I am glad cause I get to see the dog photos and see Marisha looking gorgeous...:-)

I get Marisha, I & a group of friends started my own d&d channel, and once we got over the first hump of "how do we do this regularly" the lockdown hit and we basically had to start over from scratch and now try to rebuild. Adapting to the pandemic is tough, and feel bad for anyone else just starting out right before the world changed. I'm glad to hear CR team are working as hard as they are to adapt and get stronger from this, it's really awesome and inspiring.

Speaking of weird quarantine dreams, I had one a couple of nights ago. I was on a city bus that was hijacked by the Joker, who mind-controlled the bus driver, and Matt and Marisha were two of the passengers. Us three had to figure out how to stop the bus.

I started this series in reverse and I can’t believe I missed this series 🤣! Their antics are hilarious! I love Liam’s man cave. I hope Sam and Liam give us a tour of their man caves! Also, Marisha looks amazing with her hair up! Edit: Now we need to have a lets play with Matt Mercer 🤣 Edit2: Now I’m imagining Marisha and Matt getting giddy when they visit a craft store 🤣
