Axial Ryft Metal Chassis

This is my first full metal 1/10 scale chassis for the Axial Ryft platform. I modeled it to be a close approximation of Tim Cameron's old Fatgirl chassis which is still my favorite bouncer design. some changes were made to stiffen up design and to accommodate use of Ryft swaybar. This chassis does not lose any of the stock chassis abilities but adds more to it. Shock mounts offer 12 mount points in front and also in rear for increased customization. It also allows for use of 4074 size motors with included transmission mount. Price is set at $300 +ship and includes chassis, front shock long mounting bolts, transmission mount, and swaybar mounts with bolts. for the first 9 customers I will also include rear shock cross brace bar as a bonus. Coolest and best working mod to my SCX24 was a Fatgirl chassis! Now I need a Capra equivalent, a crawler, not a bouncer!

If things go well with this one I will definitely bring it to as many platforms as possible! You know I use the Fatgirl design for most my projects. Its my favorite chassis out of all my designs 😁.

I broke the spur off mine on 4s with the copperhead 3200kv 1412 system. Vitavon makes a HD shaft with no c clip groove where it breaks. Awesome cage!!

Very nice! I like how you did the mounts. Having mounting points on both sides will make it a lot stronger.

I figured the extra weight was negligible and the strength gained was well worth it. Especially with the abuse I expect people to put these through 😅.

What’s it weigh? Cost? I sure would like to see some running footage once you fix that transmission shaft.

Weight is 2lb 5oz. Price on video description as it may change if I can get enough sales to make bigger order bringing price down. And yes, running videos once the shaft gets in! 😁 No 6s for first few runs though 😅🤣.

Its a close approximation to Tim Camerons FatGirl chassis. As of right now shipping out there is really expensive because of package size. Let me look around to see if there's any shipping company that is reasonable.

@@Gamyrc ok, thank you very much. But first i need to know if the cage is made out of metal, or titan? I have the one from Furitec and it broke at many places. Titan is just to breakable. Thats why i search for good metal, its softer and breaks not that fast. Thanx m8

@@thomaskeller8385 This one is metal. It's heavier than titanium but easier to weld back if it ever does break with abuse. Never had one break or anyone complain about any breaking but nothing is unbreakable so the fact that it is easily welded/fixed is a plus.
