In this video, I compare Jinshi and Ayaka's gameplay side by side. While I acknowledge they are different characters from separate games, this is not a direct character match-up. I focus on comparing their movements and skill effects. I chose Jinshi from Wuthering Waves and Ayaka from Genshin Impact because they share some visual similarities, which prompted my selection of these two characters

Looks like all of genshins cast when standing still, they look like lifeless puppets. In wuwa when they're standing they have facial expressions. Just like Calcharo who has a scowl face every time.

I have a high investment Ayaka in genshin. I used to main her before I quit. One of the most obvious things I notice in all these side by side comparisons is how glaringly obvious the problem of same face syndrome is in genshin. Literally every character male or female appears to have same face plate. And I can’t unsee it. I was never a huge fan of Ayaka looks to begin with, I got her for meta, but now the face is looking borderline ugly because I see how generic it is.

I’ve always liked Ayaka but compared to Jinhsi… bro their animations are from different galaxies. Every time i play Jinhsi i find new subtle details and movements in her attacks that amaze me. She literally has the best animations on a gacha character i’ve ever seen. Poor Ayaya looks like a 4 star in comparison

And we dont talk about arlechino without her signature. Genshin character that can beat wuwa animation is probably Shogun or yelan, maybe al haitham for attack string

@No-cc1fq thing is, we can already see that any other wuwa characters that come out will genuinely be better than genshin. Primarily because wuwa characters are meant to have flashy combos and skills, it's one of the major aspects of the game, whereas genshin characters depend on their element attacks more than anything. Hence, comparing these 2 games, only the badass moves wuwa makes making genshin characters look like shit. However, let's say we were to compare wuwa with Devil May Cry game (and yes, I know the game genre is different but just for character kits). Now that would be a level platform to compare. Sadly, we can't because there are no wuwa characters that come close to any of the DMC characters. Like, let's see jinshin and Trisha moves being compared.
