I have to make a pinned comment because everyone clearly misunderstands most of my points. Volume 0's spoilers may have changed this theory completely. However, people are misunderstanding this video so much. the point was to highlight that Ayanokoji's superiority may not be that large of a GAP between the other successful products of the White Room (People are saying that im saying "he's not the best nor superior" which is false literally lmao he is the best but it may not be by a large gap.) That's what I meant in the video, I stated this in the vid, but I think people skipped over that. This is also meant to be more THEORY based like its legit a theory lol. The thing of how I interpreted how Koji is in terms of intelligence or standing, is that he was never made to be a "perfect human" but a "human made for domination". So many things he lacks, but all his specificed training in the white room gives him a lot. A lot of which that gives him conflicting feelings, the desire to win and the desire to be human.

White Room students basically all have an artificial limiter called "Ayanokouji." There could be various white room students that could've surpassed Ayanokouji by having various specialties or divergent ways of thinking, but because the white room is basically placing them into a box where the best way to thrive is to basically "be ayanokouji", no one can "out-ayanokouji" Ayanokouji, so they'll never beat him. That's why he thinks there are a lot of people in the outside world that could top him, but not the white room. Its because the outside world has an incredible number of people, an incredible number of divergent thinkers and people who have gone through experiences that ayanokouji could never even imagine having been through a sterile environment like the white room. That's why I think people like Kouenji, Ishigami Kyou, and Arisu, and even Horikita while not as all around capable as white room students, are much more threatening to him than any white room student could be. Because they have an entirely different perspective, and their "aha" moments, can turn out entirely differently from how Ayanokouji envisioned.

Spoilers- -Ichika has a sibling. The other sibling in WR too. Her father did it to check the extent of WR education. -Yuki has to go counselling after dropping out from WR. She's one of the remaining 4 members in 4th Gen. -There are 72 students in 4th gen. - Ayanokōji's mother name is Mika. There is no romantic relationship between her and Atsumi. - Shiro and Ayanokōji fought 2 times with each other, they each won one fight. In any Martial arts practice Shiro won first or second time but Ayanokōji started winning after that. - Yuki dropped out at the age of 9 also Shiro dropped out right after that.( Maybe he like her ) - Shiro is the last person in 4th gen with Ayanokōji. He lowered his scores because he wanted to drop out and see the outside world. - In the final exam Ayanokōji was fighting with the adults with "Baton"( Context- Where six adults lying around him) - Karate, Judo, Jeet Kune Do and boxing were mentioned but they know more..... - In a fight Shiro was winning at first but Ayanokōji started winning halfway thorugh. - shiro's data:135 wins and 9 losses -Ayanōkoji's Data - 127 Win 17 Losses. 64 Consecutive Wins. -Ayanokoji was less better than shiro at first but he surpassed him he is a fast learner. -Ayanōkoji hadn't lost in years by the time he had his last match with Shirou. - Ayanōkoji Won the last match between him and Shirou -4th Gen curriculum name is " β" - The 1st to 3rd gens had a 30% dropout rate on the 3rd difficulty level, so people say the "β" program was really reckless. - They didn't expect success, they just wanted to see the limits of human beings, so they thought of the 4th gen as a throwaway generation. - That's why there was a depiction of Ayanōkouji feeling fear because it's impossible for him to survive otherwise. - 4th gen has a 99% dropout ratio. - The person who created the curriculum divides it into 10 levels of difficulty, and the beta program is the curriculum with the highest level of difficulty (10th) that was judged impossible to teach at this level of difficulty. - It seems that there is only information about level 5 being applied to the 6th generation. Amasawa and yagami and the 5th generation are level 4, and Ayanokoji and the 4th generation are applying the β curriculum, a level 10 or higher (a level impossible for humans). It seems that the 7th generation went to level 6, but it seems that they were all wiped out(fodders), so from the 8th generation onwards, it seems that levels 4 and 5 are mixed.

I think while there are definitely other students who can surpass Ayanokoji in a particular categories or almost match him, what makes Ayanokoji the masterpiece besides all the things you mentioned is that Ayanokoji is so logical, adaptable and driven that he’s essentially only limited by how much info and experience he can obtain rather than retain, essentially Ayanokoji is a container of nearly endless storage and that he can continue to improve almost endlessly if put into the right environment. The problem is however that everything has a price and the price for Ayanokoji’s insane growth rate and near limitless ability to adapt is that the stronger he becomes, the smarter he becomes, the colder and less human he feels/is. If Ayanokoji stayed in the the whiteroom I’m sure that he would of surpassed the limits of the whiteroom again and again and again. Till he truely would become the unstoppable godlike entity the white room built him up to be, which could also explain why they want him so much and why he’s still needed, he’s the last piece they need to see just how far the human condition can go and what the limit is, then they can work on creating a average between the common folk and the masterpiece and finally have A decent parameter of what standard of human they need to/can product effectively there by competing the whiteroom data.

It’s an interesting thought, but my opinion differs. I do believe that he is a cut above the rest of the white room, with maybe a handful that are close behind him, but I also don’t think that he is monstrously superior to the rest of the white room. And when tsukishiro wondered how a fair fight between two whiteroom students would go, he didn’t wonder who would win, but how it would go, as in, how it would unfold. What tsukishiro said about yagami being more than capable enough to get ayanokoji expelled, I think he meant that due to several advantages that come with, anonymity, time, and support from the school director, his data would be more than enough to have ayanokoji expelled. Yagami and ayanokoji never had the opportunity to have a fair fight, because as soon as yagami was exposed indirectly on a gamble that only worked due to yagami’s supposed inferiority complex and fear of facing ayanokoji. I believe I remember ayanokoji saying something along the lines of him being in a very dangerous position, that he was likely to get expelled. Of course I might be remembering wrong, but that shows that he felt that the situation wasn’t a good one. He managed to bait yagami and expose him after gathering clues on the habits and thought processes of the whiteroom student (for example when yagami injured those two students on the island exam, the letter horikita got, or trying to manipulate sato). Using those clues he was able to confirm the suspicious connection between kushida and yagami and he pinned yagami as a prime suspect. He was able to affirm yagami’s reckless mental state, and laid a trap that would only spring for a highly paranoid, reckless, and competent student council member. This was after his agreement with nagumo, so it was easier to get yagami interested in the love letter. Then the coded love letter lead yagami to his defeat. Well that’s my theory at least.

The other generations except 4th were a little easier to complete. If there is anything that Ayanokoji is inferior in to others, then it would be something about social studies or physically. We don't know how they teached them life. Like, seriously, how? "Hey, listen, there is a thing called tree", like this?(maybe photos of course). So no, I don't think any White Room student from 5+th generations are adapted to mess with Kiyotaka. But the title indeed was a motive to others. They would surely get frustrated if were told "Ayanokoji did better" everyday. There is no point thinking, as it will probably be revealed in the 0 Volume. I might be misremembering but didn’t some students of the fifth generation, including Ichika go see Ayanokoji’s data? Or they saw him through the glass. Hadn’t they done that to show that he existed to some of the students who didn’t believe that? Also, if the gap is not that wide, then how did he beat Ichika SO easily? Ichika thought that he wasn’t that good and she was proven wrong. Your points are great and I do think that part of what you’re saying is true but I’m not entirely sure of the gap just yet. After hearing your points, I do think that Ayanokoji is arrogant and has developed a superiority complex and that Atsuomi wants him specifically to rule, but I’m not so sure about the gap closing that much. A thought occurred to me and this is something I'm not sure others have thought of but I believe Anyanokoji to be portrayed similarly to John-117 (Master Chief) of Blue Team from the Halo franchise due to the two individuals being portrayed as the so-called best of the best from their respective programs but this video implies that Ayanokoji as well as Master Chief can be outclassed in specific fields due to their skills being branched out in slightly above average stats although I'd like to point out a major difference is Master Chief portrayal is geared towards a scarred war hero simply trying to live his life and Ayanokoji portrayed as a young genius that's the supposed pinnacle of his generation from the White Room program.

A comment on the extent of his knowledge. Ayanokouji states that he had learnt more than a person could learn in a lifetime, but it's shown that he has no point of reference. It's shown that he knows graduate level mathematics, general scientific philosophy (systems theory), and general relativity (so presumably mathematical physics up to a graduate level). This is impressive but others in our own history have achieved more impressive results (William J. Sidis for example), plus chess up to around a master or maybe even international master level (we know it's no higher than that due to his comment to Arisu). I think what's really impressive, like you said, is just how broad his knowledge base is. It really is impressive just how many subjects he knows to a professional level, but he's not a specialist in any one area and he has major blind spots. Unreliable narrator and all that. He's not wrong, it's more than most people could know in a lifetime, but the reason he's got where he is is different. Ayanokouji's goal is to protect himself by reaching the minimum level he needs to outclass others in the White Room. As far as we know, he goes into maintenance mode after he enrols in high school. If others continue to grow, they will beat him.

im pretty sure there is a massive gap between koji and the rest. In volume 0 it is shown tha ayanokoji had reached the 10th level of the hardest generation whereas characters like yagami who are conisdered the 2nd best only reached the 4th level of an easier generation.

I thought ayanokoji was so confident against all white roomers because he knows he is superior to all prior generations and that every generation after him is using him as goal to reach. Ayanokoji knows he has mastered combat to an extreme degree and learnt practically all academic or theoretical knowledge. Any combat style taught would be a variation of what he has learned which he knows how to counter. Everything he has learnt is from the white room which he has been given literal confirmation from ichika that the curriculums are similar at least academically and likely physically. Knowing this he doesn't think anyone taught there can surpass him who has mastered everything. Don't get me wrong it is definitely still partially quite arrogant but it is not entirely unfounded.

You do make some interesting points there for sure. However, I can't agree with it. I'm pretty sure that he is a "god" (not in a true sense but as a metaphor) for the WR. Tsukishiro is not a man of his word and we don't even know how objective he is when he talks about ayonakoji. For example, the thoughts you quoted in the video could also be an unreliable narrative, just like kiyotoka often is one. The same goes for his other statements. The author truly wants ayonakoji to be the absolute best. There won't be anyone better than him and tbh they probably don't even come close. Another thing is how broken and crazy yagami reacted when he realized Kiyotakas plan. If he is the best WR student from the 5th generation, it would be proving how inferior other WR students are to Kiyotaka. I'm sure that Yagami had his own problems but even then, it's not like Ayonakoji actively did anything either. That is one of the reasons why Yagami was so consumed by his own anger and frustration back then when he got expelled. He wasn't even good enough for Kiyotakas active involvement. I could go on about this but yeah I think you get what I'm trying to say. The only things that could be a threat to Kiyotaka are probably things like someone breaking down normal students he wants to see growing or some other social issues. I don't think any of the other WR students is a match for Kiyotaka when it comes to skills (okay maybe social skills but Kiyotaka is even slowly mastering this skill) as well as talents. He is the absolute best and there won't be anyone who comes truly close to his level. That's just what the philosophy of the book is like.

Well if we go about the history of the white room it's stated that none of the previous generation's students survived the white room. It WAS the fourth generation which did produce a product that could survive it, AND he did not only survive but breezed through the tests. As he could pass these tests easily they increased the difficulty to monstrous levels which is why it is called the demonic fourth generation. The show will never focus specifically on why it is called. The just named it because they produced a masterpiece. Even in terms of fighting ability he survived and beat the instructors who were at least 2 times his age in the photos and it's like a 4v1 of atleast continuous 1v1's. Apart from academics fighting and intellect there are not many other things to compete on. If you are saying categorically superior then that is a broad concept. If someone is more good at basketball or football than him like sudo or hirata then that is obvious isn't it. He has basically all the tools for passing any test which a normal person does. The best human. Yagami was expelled without even a confrontation, even with his own classmate attacking him with the threat of nagumo and the white room. He kept these in mind and expelled yagami. It was not a fair fight. Yagami was certainly shown to be more charismatic and had more of an influence in his class than ayanokoji and was contacting the second and third year too. Ayanokoji had to also deal with nanase simultaneously although he convinced her fairly quick. These things happened in a single arc one after another and he still came out on top but without a protection point. It's clear that his abilities are superior. He is trying to find a person who could defeat him at his best. He had helped horikita ichinose and hirata for that reason only. He hasn't lost yet. He hasn't stated even a single time that he did lose in anything except that chess match against arisu which was altered due to tsukashiro. He had stated that he could have been knocked out by guys like manabu and Albert in his monologue but he is consistent in his wins. There is a reason for that and his talents is the only answer I could think of. So I think you're completely wrong.

This is a spoiler alert so proceed if you wanna know It was revealed recently that the level of the white room students like Amasawa, Yagami and others is lvl 4-5 maximum, while Ayanokouji who is a part of the generation 4 underwent the ridiculous level of 10 (for reference, the drop rate for lvl 10 was 99% and it was considered beyond human level), but they treated generation 4 as guinea pig generation in which they simply wanted to test the limits of human abilities, and Ayanokouji topped that, that ought to tell you things. Plus, in Y2V7, Ayanokouji said so to Amasawa "It doesn't matters if your opponent's skill goes up from 30 to 40 when your skill is near level 100". Ayanokouji is a beast among beasts.

I was about to be ticked off too, but I do understand avent's point... its simple, what he has observed from others around him, being put on a pedestal, may have put an ideology of unparalleled supremacy inside of koji's mind, although I do think he's emotionless, this kind of logic may have intoxicated him to the point where he can come off as arrogant, or be arrogant overall... But tbh, considering that yagami was a level 4 or 5 curriculum student and ayanokoji was a beta curriculum (level 10+) student, really puts a serious strain on avent's entire argument... but yeah, what he says might be true honestly...

As a once superior being in terms of education, I can say that just because you're the best at something doesn't make you a God or anything, it's just that people have no idea how you get there as the have no perspective on what moves the needle. All you need is an idea of what moves the needle from 0% to 1% and then you do that 100 times. This is why amazing people are way more amazing when you actually try to become them because you realise you need to make that improvement 100 times. It also makes them... extremely boring but that's what's so amazing I'd say.

Ayanokoji was the only person left in 4th Gen which was the hardest. His Gen was lvl 10 ( max lvl ) while Yagami Gen was only lvl 4

Please do a video comparing The natural geniuses and the artificals in the white room. The gaps between them. To me the Goal of the white room tells me that there are already people on the world of COTE that the whiteroom is trying to replicate. To prove that enviroment can also create geniuses and not just genetics like Arisu. I am thinking the faliures before Koji were measure to the standards of natural born geniuses and didn't measure up.

Wrong question whether he is superior or powerful. He has 2 core abilities: an eidetic memory and the ability (although it's more of an enforced thing) to suppress or dissociate from his emotions. Other than that he is a pretty normal guy.

Personally I dont think ayanokoji has a superiority complex as he's very humble when praising others even if it were not something he truly meant as for the thing about whiteroom students its probably bcz of his surrounding that made him like that as he have seen many fall and not being able to catch up to him and the source of his confidence about this comes from his dad himself and his attempt of bringing him back to WR (i can be wrong)

A lot of these points are very invalid. The first is the fact that none of the students except for Ayanokouji are “successful” Sakayanagi says it and atsoumi says it as well. You’re entire argument is based on the biased opinions of Tsukishiro, he personally believes that Ayanokouji isn’t great that’s why he objects when someone brings up Ayanokouji being the “masterpiece” Tsukishiro seems to have a personal vendetta against Ayanokouji. In their first meeting he immediately attacks Ayanokouji telling him to “show him something a kid can’t do” he also “believes” that the 5th gen is better even though atsoumi denies that when talking to Ayanokouji. A note on Yagami. Also remember that he is not only a year younger than Ayanokouji, but also probably left the White Room earlier in order to attend Kushida's middle school. His character, like Amasawa, is probably better suited to developing in the areas the White Room values, but he's been hamstrung by politics, brainwashing, and a lack of support.
