Some notes about mr L: He is in a psychiatric hospital, he is possibly the hippie from Into The Electric Castle "I roamed the stars on the wings of an amazing flight", he also mentions singing about these dreams he had, so the character can also be Arjen himself writing the Ayreon albums I know complicated. Anyways this is a good summary regardless and this is definitely my favourite Ayreon album so far but that might be because I got to hear it being played live in Tilburg.

Mr. L is definitely the Hippy.

It has to be intentional. He also mentions the sunlight that doesn't warm, and color bleeding into the night. The Hippie is also the only character voiced by Arjen on Electric Castle. Too many coincidences

@@Capn_Lyssa Oh yeah there is a lot of links between Mr L and The Hippie. I theorised that the little gift the Forever of the Stars gave to The Hippie unlocked the ability to see his past lives and the visions Ayreon saw. Since we know Ayreon has visited Mr L and we know that abilities like this are shared throughout someone's lives. It is another life of Merlin that we hear at the beginning of The Final Experiment after all with the same abilities of the Merlin we meet later on the album

Watched your video before the concert in Tilburg, and it helped me to immerse into the story way better and added greatly to the whole experience. Would have missed out a lot otherwise. Thanks a million! 😊

If I recall correctly there's the last track on the timeline album where the Migrator breathes live back into the forever race. Great video overall, I love your content!

I Read the entire fandom wiki page and the story still realy confused me so this helped a lot! Thank you so much!! Also, the concert was absolutely amazing, and everyone had so much energy. I loved every second of it

this has always been one of my favourite ayreon albums even though i have never delved deep in the storyline. so thanks for the video! I'm gonna be seeing ayreon live next saturday in tilburg and hopefully also interviewing brittney slayes from UTA who is gonna be performing as a guest. can't wait to hear this full album live!

@@JJMetalhead yeah hopefully ! we are trying to figure out a good time to do the interview since she is super busy (ayreon are playing two shows each day, one at noon and one at 9pm and that is because there was a huge demand for tickets... so I can imagine how tight her schedule is). Anyway I'm really looking forward to it, I know that she would probably be super into chatting about ayreon concepts like the one in 01 since I know she is such a big sci-fi /fantasy nerd XD

@@JJMetalhead the thing is that the interview will be in italian (recorded in english but translated in italian) for an italian webzine so I doubt you will understand it XD however once the interview is published I could send you the audio file of the interview with the original conversation (in english of course), that wouldn't be a problem. Tbh i'm still keeping my fingers crossed cause she still has to send me the exact time for the interview , so I'm hoping it is actually going to happen (if not i'm gonna be seeing unleash the archers at wacken next year so hopefully it will happen then with a way less hectic schedule). Anyway I will let you know :)
