He doesn’t heel toe when he blips the throttle he does that to essentially emulate traction control keeping the revs high so he can feel when the car gets traction so he can floor it. If he uses heel toe downshift (before the corner) before he blips the throttle (through the apex and then floors it on early exit)

"Ayrton Senna driving a Honda Civic" is a sentence I never thought to see.

He did have a lot say in the tuning of the NSX and Honda provided the engine for the McLaren. So I don't doubt he own d a few Honda's possibly

@@xJDMWaRRi0Rx I think this is the "spirit" of cars missing nowadays. It used to be professional racers involved in the production of consumer cars but without their opinion/endorsement you're left with today's mommy SUVs and trucks.

Classic oversteer on lift at 1:02 so that's why they concentrate on this particular corner, as we all know key is to stay on the power when countering the oversteer.
@montegofd3s5 жыл бұрын
@MrLewisbate If you have ever driven an EF on a track you would imediatly know why you are wrong. Lift induced oversteer is immediate and the only cure is putting your foot down on the go pedal.
@Curi0u50ne4 жыл бұрын
montego thank you I have experienced similar on track with it’s younger sibling the eg civic 🤗
@THIS---GUY4 жыл бұрын
montego you could trail brake better and take a bit better line but yeah you’re right if you stomp on the brakes you lift the car losing downforce and shift the weight to the front making it harder to control.

Hi, good question, judging from the models this was pre 91 which was when the eg civic was introduced so I imagine the eg was being tested and developed in the 90s it would definitely made an appearance so by this deduction we looking at 88 or 89....
