You're just gaming and possibly streaming go with the B series, but if you're doing programming and other heavy workloads just go the z or x depending on the processor, unless you're doing both then just go with z or x series.

@@iqbalahmed9596 these are the only two motherboards I have known that still support the DDR4 ASRock Intel Z790M PG Lightning/D4 DDR4 PCIe 5.0 mATX Motherboard and ASUS PRIME Z790M-PLUS D4 DDR4 PCIe 5.0 mATX Motherboard, but if you search long enough I bet you'll find the one you will like and I would not recommend searching an x series board because those ones are only for AMD processes.

Again like OP said at the start of the video; it depends on the use case. If you're trying to do some serious overclocking of your components and want your system to have more stability; go for the Z series. I know not everyone cares about overclocking; but its nice to be able to get some more horsepower out of your parts if you're willing to do some 'minor' tinkering with settings 🤷‍♂️ Also not to mention the fat amount of i/o you get. I've gotten B series boards before and they were great for the price (mind you I didn't attempt over clocking back then so results may vary); but the Z series fr is so nice for the QoL features. The average Z series board has 8-10 usb ports; so no longer do you have to get an expansion card for extra usb ports, or unplug stuff to swap components you're using like I'd have to with cheaper boards. 8-10 ports is more than enough for most people as cases normally provide an additional 2-4 (making for a total of 12-14 ports with a Z690 board). And that's not even talking about things like hot swappable M.2's (no longer do you gotta fuck with that tiny af M.2 screw), accessories exclusive to Gigabyte called the 'G Connector' which makes installing case motherboard cables easier, extra sata cable(s) and useful hardware in box; things you don't see at all included on/with budget B series motherboards. So if you have the extra coin, and are even a beginner; honestly go for it! Most manufacturers design the board to be easier to install, with additional quality of life, and the software is pretty easier to interface with for overclocking (they normally have profiles you can swap and see if they work for your system so you don't really have to 'tinker' per se). But if you know what your use case is and/or prioritize budget; a B series board is as good as it gets and fits the job nicely 💯
