For folks asking about changing nozzles out on surface cleaners. You simply want to match the combination of the 2 nozzles on the surface cleaner to the recommended nozzle size for your washer. If you washer calls for a 4.0 nozzle then the 2- 2.0 that come with the surface cleaner is perfect. If the recommended nozzles is 5.0 then change out to 2- 2.5 nozzles

I keep a few double female quick connects put together so I can just plug and play if I run into a male to male when changing out a hose or attachment in the field. I put one on my BE right out of the box and it’s been there ever since.

Man I just got this cleaner and I can not get the male fitting off! The piece that goes into the handle came loose and I think I’m gonna have to take it out and put in vice! Is that okay? My rivets aren’t broke yet.

Hi, I don't know if you found the nozzle tips yet for your surface cleaner. Type on search for Meg 1/4" 2502 or 25025 nozzle tips. Also, if you have a local pressure washer company store in your area they should have them. They cost between $8 - 9.00 each. Good luck

Coty, I know this is an older video but it's new to me..lol.. My question (I apologize if I missed the explanation) is why do you change the male quick disconnect to the female on the surface cleaner?

If you put a female on the ball valve and then use it to rinse, it’ll eventually dislodge the rubber o ring and cause that connection to leak. We flip them around since there’s no way to make male fitting leak.

I just popped the rivets out and drilled a hole and put 3 nuts and bolts all the way through. I broke it the same way wrenching a female onto it.

Can't blame the manufacturer because the problem came from a modification being made

Yes I can. It’s not a “modification” to change out a quick connect. That’s standard maintenance. It was a issue that the manufacturer resolved by changing the way its put together. We pointed out a flaw, they fixed it, No more problems.
