@@shancileong970我有和马来朋友聊过，他说其实马来西亚华人一直都有一种自我种族优越感，会容易看不起其他种族的朋友。然后我自己在想，我们虽然经常投诉马来西亚国度种族歧视，可我们自己有没有歧视其他种族呢？包括我自己成长的父母在我成长的过程里，也有灌输这类的想法。所以现在我已为人父，我必须教导我孩子更正确的知识和想法，让她可以和谐的成长。

This was an excellent interview on a public figure that wins respect from him just being real and authentic. The way how Mr Shahril carried himself, politely but firmly refused to get entrenched with political mudslinging even though Lucas and Kah Mun were throwing hooks around (no hate, that's how BBK rolls but the fact that he literally avoided most of the hooks is commendable), how he talks about benefiting his community but not at the expense of the other races, how he talks about his passion for public service and about UMNO - that's a really refreshing take of a politician, especially since his former party has become synonymous with racial politics and greed. I wish him all the best, and to his question: I would want to hear more about his views and opinions from whatever platform he goes to.

It's difficult to make a blanket statement about whether non-Malays in Malaysia are accepting of Malay privileges. it is widely acknowledged that there are ongoing tensions and concerns regarding ethnic privilege in Malaysia, and many non-Malays may feel frustrated or resentful about the perceived unequal treatment.

It’s without argument that Shahril is standing at the forefront of Malaysia political landscape but unfortunately the politeness and professionalism is not widely appreciated. The suspension might not be a bad thing as UMNO is a sunken ship heading towards bigger iceberg now. Please take the time to rethink where’s future direction. Before this, I absolutely have no idea that there are people with correct frame of mind is in UMNO. I like the way he express his view and opinion while being realistic about the expectation/reality limitation. I am in agreement that, in our lifetime, unlikely that racial based policy will be gone, that is something I have accepted personally. I am also in agreement that, PH is not perfect and there are flaw and Amanah/Muda/PKR have been under performing. I would love to see politician like that join Amanah/Muda/PKR.

建议 BBK Network 往后所邀请的嘉宾以用他们自身语言或至少用国语來访谈。这么1來： 嘉宾觉得贵台的覌众很多元化。 擴大和多元化覌众群。 让 non Malay 们，如我自己，可学习和加強国语，也让有些极端友族们停止呼叫 oi, cakap bahasa lah或者取笑我们的国语讲的比外劳差那些歧视字眼。 学习和加強我国官方语言可以免了溝通障碍。让友族们别眼看我们也可说1口标准国语，正如我们羡慕非华人讲得1口流利华语。 可能貴台在做 subtitle 时有些困难或挑战极难完成任务，至少这建议可钉在貴台的 to do list for 2023 可以吗？谢谢。

难道马来同胞听不懂英语? 要扩大听众群就应该以一个能让不同族群都听得懂的语言沟通。另外, 这是一个访谈。访谈需要流畅的双向沟通。若一方有听没有全懂，或无法恰当表达自己，那反而会成为整个访谈的缺陷。

我個人的猜測，是黨內的保守派想招攬意見不同的人，好對外宣告『這個黨正在改變』，但是心裡並不想跟那些人競爭跟分享權力，他們只能處在聽從安排的位置。 清黨雖難看，勉強維持的拼裝車亦走不久，與其吃飯看人臉色，不如自起爐灶。

There are a lot of smart and sensible Malays who know what the actually issues are within UMNO. However, no matter how smart these individuals are, sadly, they are still playing racial sentiments whether they want to admit it or not. They really need a real reformation from top to bottom in order to make a strong come back 5 years later.

沙里尔韩丹是第八位友族嘉宾，目前是第二位登场的巫统成员，同时他的样貌也被民众俗称为马来版梁朝伟。沙里尔之前是巫统的明日之星，在青年团内也是个名人，也曾担任过巫统青年团副团长和最高理事会宣传主任。他也和凯里一派人一样，大选失利后就数次批评党主席阿末扎希而遭到党内纪律对付，被冻结党籍。

如果一家公司经营太久要谈改革的确比较难，不如跳出创新公司从新来过容易。因为旧公司会有很多老员工、老老板还停留在当时的做法得到成功。很难要他们转去向年轻一辈的做法。 他们要是能接受市场已经由80后90后甚至00后主导事实，那容易许多了。

先不管他人是怎么说，但是他有点到非常重要的点 人民尤其是土著肯定要看到是真正意义上的改革至少贪污印象派必须是要被换下的 只要他们还在巫统担任高职就很难去改变印象 尤其是现在zahid 靠着权力在手而完全放手一搏来全面打压反抗的声音 身为少数民族应该尽量避免在社交媒体去赞美一个贪污罪领袖的人 另外一个考量因素也是如果巫统真的能挨过这一关在未来对国家也是好的 一党独大的情况下很容易会出现过往的巫统 至少需要有两个政党能够互相牵制才是最好的政治局面 但这种的政治局面必须是以一个中庸多元为出发点的政党像国盟以马来人之上为主的肯定是要不得的

个人认为无论是PH 还是Umno 也面对非常大的挑战尤其在向自己的支持者解释为何要站一起成立政府，马来梁朝伟说自己不会把种族宗教课题武装起来是很好的立场，可是不要是因为umno在弱爆了的时候才有的立场.

无可否认，巫统的确是国内老牌第一大党， 底蕴还是不错，人才也很多。 其实巫统现在的改革就是需要瘦身臃肿领导层，加强造福乡村马来区发展，在城市宣传多元文化和反贪污。 (我个人不觉得扎西能走向这个方向) 可是，现今的政治情况，巫统的改革派很可能只是希望能换掉主席，然后加强捍卫马来人特权(最快得到马来选民的支持). 那这种方式其实只是加深种族隔离。

我们自然而然的认为自己不行，可能是对手强。 但其实不能排除，TIKTOK有能力，后面可能有操控演算法来控制什么人看到什么。 所以也不一定是国盟的影片马来人喜欢看。 只是它被精准投送给了vulnerable 的首投。 然后屏蔽了其它ph的人物，减低他的流量。 App的干净程度是可以左右大选的，而现在没有什么人在谈。 这个能力可能在下届大选，被强国拿来对我们政治人物当筹码， 在国际议题上面威逼利诱牺牲马来西亚的利益。 希望主持人和每个候选人可以反映这点。

阿末扎希有远见，他看到了慕尤丁消灭蚕食巫统的企图和行为，毅然和希盟合作保存巫统以利日后东山再起。阿末扎希对巫统的忠诚令人敬佩。他能成功也说明巫统多数人忠于本党，叛徒只是少数。

This has been going on for years in UNNO. President holds the most power, all assets are under him hence whoever don't want to be left out of dedak sharing will support his decision. Haiyaa, handsome guy. At least DAP got a few melayu YB, they are working towards non-kaum thingy. When will we see some non-melayu YB in UMNO. 20 years later or never. Don't tell DAP not to be kauman when UMNO itself is forever kauman. Talk is easier lah, try to do it lah. Ask UMNO to put ONE non-melayu candidate, see they can do it or not.

UMNO stands for United Malays National Organization... explicitly stated a Malay party. Under BN, their non-malay candidates are in MCA and MIC.
