In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Watcher. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

iirc the ring of the serpent bug isn't present on the Switch port, it's mobile only This was a thoroughly funny run to watch. It's not often that a floor 2 stone calendar goes all the way to the heart without doing any damage the whole run

It's so absurd how you just so casually turn one of the worst Neow transform i've seen into one of the most elegant and powerful deck i've seen. And it take you arguably just about 1 act to do that. What a beautiful run to watch. I'm completly awestruck here.

I find it funny that here, on win 3 when we didn't know it would become the record-taking streak, that you were talking about win streaks and unsustainability toward constant escalation. That's awesome that you went to a nuclear power plant. I find space and sciences fascinating. There is a lot of advancements with particle physics and the James web space telliscope is doing amazing work. Check out the youtuber Anton Petrov he has lots of content you might find interesting.

Can someone kindly explain how Brilliance is scaling so damn high? It doesnt seem like it should go that high. I am taking both Vulnerable and Nib into consideration. What am I missing?

Brilliance gets addtional damage equal to all Mantra gained this combat, not just your current mantra - so if you already went divine 3 times, Brilliance gets 30 extra damage from that. Maybe that's what you missed?

If you have the ability to play your favorite games on your phone why would you not only have it on there?! You can literally play it anytime you want ever.. I’ll never play this game on pc since it’s out for the phone..

The mobile version is infamous for being plagued with lots of bugs, balance problems (I think its currently a patch behind) and also sometimes being a general pain to play with (quitting sometimes doesn't save your current state)

Not sure if it was mentioned in the video but if I’m not mistaken, you only get the orb slot because of a mod Baalor is using.

Nah, you get the orb in vanilla. (I love Prismatic Shard so I’ve taken it many a time.)

@@Bobber_The_Wise Not quite, technically you need BaseMod for the orb slot to appear. If you disable it you won't get any orb slot

@@arthurf4148 no, any character that isn't Defect gets one orb slot when they pick up Prismatic. It makes orb generating cards not completely ineffective, just mostly so.

@@Jazter i believe there's a bug with BaseMod where Spire Shield and Spear will debuff focus instead of strength on non-defect characters with Prismatic Shard (in vanilla Prismatic Shard doesn't affect the debuffs) maybe that's what you were thinking of
