It’s lovely to see you back, sharing with us. Thank you as I always enjoy your podcasts! Unfortunately I’m in Australia and we are in the season of spring, heading into summer. Funny how we fight nature sometimes….and there’s nothing that we can do about it. I totally love the winter evenings….fire going, knitting and sipping on a whisky. However, all good things come to a close. Probably a good thing, because then we truely appreciate the time when it returns. All the very best with the yarn festival xOXo ❤

So nice to see you find a time to do a podcast. Those years when you are working and home making while baby is growing are really so busy. I did full-time work too and I know it was really tough. any time you find to podcast is much appreciated. You sound really well organised!! I'm on the north coast is so warm up here at the moment too. We have been lucky and have missed the storms that you have had in the size so we still have our leaves for a bit yet. I adore your jumper. I can't believe that you just made it up. Oh you are so talented! Till the next time, take care ❤

So fun to see you here again! I love autumn, here on the west coast of Canada we have gorgeous colours and usually good weather with cooler nights. With all the wildfires, we are happy to have rain now.

That little jumper is so cute! The sound of you spinning makes me want to get my wheel out too.

I love how you put the bats up on the wall with a big round mirror that almost looks like a moon. I’m one of those with a love-hate relationship with fall because of allergies but I love when the weather cools off going into the “long night“. I really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming as work and life permits stay well. Slán

That jumper looks fab! So cute I really love the design. I'm really struggling with the darkness I get up at five in the morning for work and seeing it dark just makes me want to sleep longer 😂

Grace, I appreciate every minute you can make it to a podcast. You don’t have to be super productive with the yarn things to have valuable content. Autumn, to me, is a big sigh of disappointment. It was 90* today but it gets dark early and it’s dark when I leave in the morning. Ugh. Here’s an easy ‘desperation’ dinner for autumn: on a sheet pan spread your frozen gnocchi some cubed butternut squash, Brussels sprouts or broccoli. Toss with olive or avocado oil and herbs (thyme) and roast adding your ‘sausage’ sliced or crumbled, Minutes to prep and results the flavor of the season. For the baby party Keep It Simple. One more decor is enough. One fancy food/dessert. One special toddler activity. That alone will make a lovely gathering and give you the chance to enjoy it.

Good luck with your festival, Grace. If I didn’t live way over here in 🇨🇦, I’d attend for sure! 🧶 The mirror looks like the 🌝 with the 🦇s flying by.

This is the wild kitten that James rescued around the time of covid. Then we got another kitten named peanutbutter to keep him company. They are both around two and a half years old now
