Smokin' Joe's Pit BBQ

Smokin' Joe's Pit BBQ

Күн бұрын

Thank you for watching my baby back ribs video. On this video, I smoked 2 racks of baby back ribs on my Yoder Frontiersman. I've smoked plenty of baby back ribs in the past but never in an offset smoker. I've smoked baby back ribs on my pellet smoker, Gateway Drum Smoker and even on my Pit Barrel cooker but never on an offset smoker. It really is hard to beat the flavor you get on an offset smoker.
Thanks for watching

First time I smoked ribs was this weekend. 3,2,1 used the butter on the second part of the cook but got to thinking. I watched several videos of you doing beef and using beef tallow. Being a southern family we have an old time coffee pot full of bacon grease wonder if that would work too. Going to try that next time unless you think it might not work.

I could eat a whole rack of those. Growing up in Central Texas we grilled/smoked meat every week, my Dad was very particular, if you served him anything with BBQ sauce on it he would not eat it, he assumed you burned the meat or somehow ruined the cook. I am not that bad, sometimes a little (very little) sauce is a good thing. I believe in this case you hit it right on the head
