It's also foreshadowed when Baby is flipping through TV channels towards the beginning. He tunes into a bullfighting match, and the announcer says something about the bull seeing red and charging.

At 1:22, while the interior of Buddy's Charger is red, Baby's S Class is blue. Nice little detail.

I feel a little bad for Buddy & Darling. They were kinda like Baby & Debra. Criminals in love well Baby anyway & made for each other truly. He was better than Bats. Now him yeah deserved to die. Darling wasn't kidding in the diner. Bats was lucky Buddy wasn't coming for him.

Buddy WAS going to kill him, he promised her in the car he would kill him after that heist, right before that shootout with undercover police during the weapons deal. Because Bats kept eyeballing her, but Buddy never got the chance to kill Bats and Baby ended up taking him out.
