It's even more clever when you read up on them. Wobbufets japanese name comes from a comedian who would do stand up based on word play. When they added Wynaut, he added to the joke as well.

@@imperialorder2417well Wynaut is historically an Uber until they gave it an alternate garbage ability. Wynaut should beat any baby Pokémon 1v1 although as a battle royale with maintained damage it could be different.
