We tried to get my daughter to say "mama" and this is what happened. I had to hide the camera where my daughter couldn't see it to record her because she kept looking at it :)

Dad: Okay baby I'll cut you a deal when you become atleast 2 you will hear of this thing called candy if you say Dada first I will sneak you some when mama is not looking.

I'm probably wrong but I figured dada is just a little easier to pronounce than mama because it requires accurate use of the lips, so babies might say it first because of that.

My first word was "nooooo" when my mom tried to make me say mama, then ehen dad came home i said dadadadadadadad lmao, and thats why i think my brother is the favorite child

Dada is a bit easier to say can’t wait for that day hopefully if ever Meet someone and have baby together and If firsts or even dada make me so happy actually be excited when baby says dada just something so cute about bond between baby and the day special when have daughter just the cutest thing ever
