I did not re-score the music so there is some repetition of Christopher Franke's excellent Babylon 5 themes from the original show. I hope this doesn't ruin the experience for you.

Wow! You have not only totally nailed the B5 look, but you also perfectly emulated the camera work from the show. All it needs is sound and better particle effects. (For the weapons fire and engine exhausts.)

The Shadows and the Vorlons both wanted the younger races to advance, but both had differing ideas of how to achieve this. The Shadows believed advancement would come from hardship and war that would drive technological advances, the Vorlons throught spiritual advancement and enlightenment were the way for the younger races to precede.

*yawn*. Most of the main cast have sadly passed, B5's time has gone and I'll remember it fondly for its awesomeness. Reboots are shit, they don't have the 'soul' of the previous work. Even BSG as good as it was, was tampered with far too much for my liking. CGI was good, but too much handicam spoiled it.

FX generally buzzin' now, but fuck me all the writers are children, the established actors seem to just want a paycheck and ego stroke [looking at you Stewart] . For proof I just need to spin the twats in the direction of Picard, only 3 seasons...too many.

I gave up on modern sci Fi and fantasy. It truly is written by idiots for idiots. Or I play the ' how many plot holes can I find' game while watching. To be raised on twilight zone and TOS reruns and get a TNG and DS9 as a teen,. I now know how good I had it!

Yep it's all bollox now except for the CGI. I got bored of it years ago, shit writing mostly, dialogue and story. Too much must tick the boxes for disabled gay coloured overweight dwarven characters.

@@brianbrenner4245 The First Shadow Wars was Thousands of years before Valen, beside Humans didn't even Exist as A Species back then and most Shows are base around A Human, unless they try to write a story around Shadows kidnapping a few early humans who eventually became the Techno-Mages. Unless we get a B4 series from 10,000 years back to show how the war played out.

Wow dude, this is very cool. I still have all the seasons series and movies, greatest Sci-Fi series ever made. I have the series in a remastered 1080p DTS version, a think a guy from my country (Holland) remastered them, took him ages, distortion is mostly gone, way better than the orginal DVS standard, upgraded DTS sound. But what you are showing beats it by a long shot :-) , keep up the fantastic work !

Very Nice.. I played the table top minis game in the day. The sequence with the star station I would have had the station split into 5 sections and I would have had the War Cruisers use their aft firing neutron lasers.....

My thoughts exactly. The Excalibur never convinced me. This was more a crossover between a White Star and a Primus class battlecruiser in a carrier config. Very nice touch.

I have always believed in my heart of hearts that nubile young lady's in leather butt flap bikinis make the ideal staffing choice for interstellar warships, but why are they fighting for the Shadows? The television series reboot is dead. The television network was bought by another network and a lot of shows and projects were cancelled.

Good, I don't want a reboot b/c it just won't be the same. It wasn't the FX that made the show [it helped at the time], it was the cast & story.

This is the first I've heard of the cancellation, but it is probably for the best. A reboot would most likely have destroyed the legacy of the original show, and I honestly don't think JMS could have protected the spirit of the series from the woke brigade running Hollywood. (It doesn't help that JMS is pretty far left himself.)

This is a good video. There are a few glaring issues I have with this. 1) The Shadows, they aren't around during the ISA time. They all left before the formation of the ISA. 2) I have is, whitestars get blown up, without showing their mobility, this was shown in the show. Yet, a new created ship survives.

at the beginning i am very confused becuase i saw a minbari cruiser and i was like oh yeah i know that from babylon 5 but then another jump point opened and some whitestar looking cruisers came out and i thought that, that was just a whitestar but then i saw a whitestar next to the cruiser so can anyone explain what ships those were ?

I heard that some of the original sound effect files were lost a long time ago. Redoing those effects from scratch is probably a lot harder than it sounds.

Latest I heard on the fate of B5 reboot or continuation was it's being looked at by HBO-MAX, after being looked at by the CW, and then dropped ultimately. 😳 Personally I'd prefer a continuation versus a reboot ; they're are so many things to look at Vorlons, The Narns, Centauri , Shadows, Tech-Mages, and so much more ! There was a PC game in development and that got canceled 😞; actors and actresses in the series wanted payment for their characters and voices used, and the creator of the series had some disagreements as well ! So we shall see what happens to my favorite series ; a reboot will need new actors and actresses to replace 🤔 members who've passed away, and that may be difficult to find 🤔.

I do hope somehow they can find away to finish the story, I'd wondered if there was a higher force other then the shadows, and truly what was the purpose of 6 'BABYLON's, I had heard that all stations could be interconnected, that's just one angle. A interested FAN.
