Hi guys, here is the second part of the Akatsuki performances I watched. I decided to break them up into three videos to keep them short and sweet to watch since the reaction video is going to be a longer one. I saved most of my comments for the end so, I apologize if this one isn't as lively as you're all used to lol. Hope you guys still like it, I certainly really appreciated the performance. Thank you to every single one of you as well, you guys have been a huge help in getting my sub count to 340 (at the time I just checked lol), and I really can't thank you enough. I'm just doing this for fun and to share my journey in discovering new music, I truly thank every single one of you who watches, likes, comments, and/or subs for being part of this journey with me.

I've been a Babymetal Fanatic for over 3 years. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time watching Babymetal reviewers to see how others connect with my favorite band. Today, I discovered your channel late into the night, and binged watched your journey to this point. I can safely say, you are one of the best reactors I've ever seen. Your analysis and emotional connection mirrors my own when it comes to Babymetal. I greatly appreciate you and can't wait to view more or your reactions. Thank you so very much. Yes that artwork is fantastic! Being quiet to this version is a reaction in itself, completely understandable, possibly even expected. It's that powerful. Damn, that final remark about the last one putting aggression at the forefront and this one putting pain there was excellent, spot on for me. Queen Su will steal your soul with a glare, but just easily steal your heart with her voice. And we love her for it. Thanks Gombers, you don't disappoint! Stay safe, stay metal 🤘🦊🤘

This song and „No Rain, no Rainbow“ never fail to make me cry, no matter how often I listen to them. I find it pretty fascinating that they can make two totally different, yet equally awesome songs from the same base material.

⚡ / 🔴 🌙 Here's a translation of the narration before the "Unfinished Version" of 'Akatsuki': "In order to defend the soul of the Metal, in exchange for her own life, SU-METAL fought. Before long, SU-METAL's soul became the crimson flame, and dyed the sky crimson. However, as the distant stars go out, the end of life is the law of nature. Now the crimson moon is burning out with SU-METAL." NOTE: This "Unfinished Version" leaves off the final two lines of the song. "Dye crimson! Dye bloody crimson!". Instead, it ends at "I shall keep on cherishing this love.". I think that Su's acting ability is underrated. She has the ability to pull up deep emotions and clearly express them.

The ""Unfinished Akatsuki" is my favorite version. You already know the themes of sacrifice and lasting love in the song and now consider that this performance comes between the manic energy of "Headbanger" and the insanity of the "Babymetal DEATH" finale. Su starts the song from the same position on the platform as she finished Headbanger. Its a great trilogy of songs that takes Su from schoolgirl to rebirth as a metal goddess...yeah I know, just go with it. This performance also shows off Su's experience in musical theater and ability to emote and communicate with the audience and remember, she's just turned 16 here.

Great reaction, one of my favorite performances of one of my favorite Babymetal songs. I'm sure you've been building a massive watchlist from all the superfans in the comments but if you want more to bring the feels I'd highly suggest "No Rain, No Rainbow" from Legend S and "The One" from Tokyo Dome.

Just so you know, BABYMETAL has a song suitable for the situation entitled in English "No More, Bullying, Forever". In your video Su has just turned 16-year old and singing this after 12 exhausting songs and before being crucified in BABYMETAL Death. She is really an athlete diva.

@@CHRISCONTEPSS Thanks, that's OK. BTW, I witnessed "Akatsuki" at Budokan on Feb 19 this year. That performance was incorporated with unfinished version partially and fighting choreo by 2 muscle sisters as they did in 2018 dark side shows. Honestly I can not remember clearly what I saw and what I heard because it was too surprising and too mesmerizing. I have to confirm it in the streaming program scheduled on June 26 (Japan time). There is a certain thing, however. I felt celestial bliss at the venue.

I agree, that artwork deserves wall-space. Su crushes this "toned down" version with her emotions as much as she does the more "metal" version with the guitars and cape-work. Within the context of this show, this is a great bridge between "Headbanger" and "Babymetal Death".

No matter how many times you hear it, this song will give me chills. Su-Metal was born as a performer and entertainer. Su-Metal interpretation of a song is different from any singers I've heard. She let her emotions and sincerity flow with the song. She knows how to role-play. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤟🇯🇵🇸🇬

Quiet is fine, I just interpret it as speechless. ;-) Suzuka/Su-metal is master of putting emotion in her performance, dangerously so ! She can make grown men cry without them even knowing the lyrics. And then to remember this is the show to celebrate her 16th birthday.

Nice reaction, thanks! The "standard" version of "Akatsuki" is my favorite song as you all probably know :) but this one is extremely beautiful and gets me every time. It's almost too much... and I believe it was too much for Su as well... given some facts from the next song ("BABYMETAL Death"). See you next time!

As a lot of people have pointed out, No Rain No Rainbow Legend S is the song with the feels.... Aside from her Sakura Gakuin Gradutation toss, and the speeches from the other members of SG (especially Moa), No Rain No Rainbow was probably the only time I've seen her teary eyed. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n9ycnNh_0LuxmH0.html Here's the graduation speech vid.... The artwork and narration in the beginning is a Babymetal staple- an ongoing and charmingly ridiculous story (or lore) referred to as "kamishibai". Each of their "Legend" level concerts have several different kamishibai. These are usually cut from the youtube versions of the songs so reacters don't see them often. One of my favorites is the kamishibai before the song "Onedari Daisakusen" at the Legend 1997 show (the same as this one). There was one song that was not brought out or performed live because she was not ready and did not get the emotional impact of how to perform the song until later... I’m sure it will be revealed but yeah this was emotional to the point where Sue wasn’t sure she could do the unfinished version justice. There’s a clip of that other song where she actually brings Black Babymetal back from there dark side in a live show.... love your reactions and recognizing the issues happening! 🦊 🦊 🦊

I'm not the biggest fan of this version of the song, but it is really a showcase of Su's greatness and explains of why Babymetal is the first japanese band to ever become a world phenomenon by itself. 16 years old Su still didn't have the vocal technique that she has today or that worldwide international singers have, but she had something unique, and that was the interpretative emotion she was already capable of instill to her performances. Nonetheless she had been an actress since she was eight years old. And she has not stopped to improve until today, because she is a hard working and diligent lady.

You said it so well, her ability to express with her voice and inflections really took her singing technique to a level beyond her years. I really can’t wait to hear a recent performance of this to hear how she handles the song with her more mature and mastered vocal technique

Now the crimson moon is burning out with SU-METAL. She then sings Akatsuki unfinished, which is followed by the Kamishibai that precedes Babymetal Death.... Legend One-Nine-Nine-Seven It is the story that, receiving the legendary corset from the god of Metal, she abandons being human and shall be reborn as a goddess. The gene which has been determined from ancient time is destined to be guided, boarding on the ark of time. The apocalypse prophesied the DOOMSDAY. Towards it, there remains little time At which point the opening salvos of Babymetal Death melts faces and Su is crucified.

Hey everyone’s got their taste, if we’re talking replays, I would replay the finished version more often just because it’s more upbeat and that’s generally what I like. But when I’m feeling introspective or wanting something a bit more emotional, this will definitely be what I turn to.

Imagine SuMetal playing the piano herself on this song just like she did with No Rain No Rainbow? The One will gone wild for that. Talking about The One, it seems there's a fuzzy issue about last message at Budokan live concert, wich for me mislead the real future of the group, it reads like this: *Metal Resistance finally comes to a close after a 10-year battle. The "10 count gong" making the end of the battle will eventually turn into a signal of departure. The 3 metal spirits that have been shining since 2010, even if they were to leave Earth, woul continue to shine forever in our hearts and across the Metal Galaxy, a legend turns into a myth wich turns into a LIVING LEGEND... It is a shame that whoever uploaded that video got the sound out of sync, not your fault I have seen the same version used by another reactor and it was like that as well. But yeah really beautiful, it would be awesome to see her do another song like that or maybe this one again to see how much better she can do it now she is older and has even more control

Audio and video are a little out of sync but it's the source material not Gombers. Seen a few reactors use this out of sync version. Love the song and reaction though.
