Great reaction... and I believe I've said it a number of times... and I meant it. 😁 Thanks! I was already very happy with the previously released songs and I have watched and listened the live versions premiered at Makuhari Messe in January (BABYMETAL Returns). And they are even better live. But last weekend shows are called to be legendary. And the kamis of the west... I've heard that mr. Barone murdered his drum sets. It's crazy that people was able to recognize him for the violence used against those poor instruments. 🤣 Very fan. And songs like this "Mirror Mirror" (premiered live on last Saturday's concert, BABYMETAL Begins - Black Night) fits him perfectly in my opinion. I really want to see these new concerts, also because of all the lore / drama and, of course because I want to see that extended outro from Black Night and MOMOMETAL on her "first" concert as official member (Clear Night) and all that implies: mic, BMD, etc. I'm very happy for her, she totally deserves it. I can't stop congratulating her for some reason. 😁 You are probably aware that a part of the fandom is not very happy about it. YUIMETAL was a very important part of BABYMETAL, but that is history now (and five years ago, sadly). But we will always remember Yui Mizuno. She's very special and will always have a special place in our hearts. See you later!

Saw Knotfest Japan on Sat, BM on Sun. With due respect to the Western Kamis, Slipknot were the best Western musicians I heard on the weekend. I wish Koba-metal would be a bit more creative in his choice of musicians, enlarging the pool of players-there is so much talent in Japan, why go Western with the KB? One of the charms of BM is precisely that it's Japanese. But Koba has always been internationally-minded. Re Momoko, the fans and bloggers I saw were in full approval, despite strong sentiments for dear Yui (myself included). The English part of the lyrics of "Mirror Mirror" has got Brothers Grimm and Shakespeare in it. Lyrics seem to be continuing the theme of duality and complementarity of "Light and Darkness", but inward instead of outward, the mirror reflecting the inner self.

@@GlassMoonGaming The best guitarist all day at Knotfest was Hal-Ca of Asterism-they were on first at 9:30 a.m., an ungodly hour, but other performers were in the crowd to hear her play. For me it took hearing her with so many other pickers the same day to really appreciate how good she is. I cannot understand why BM impresario Koba-metal doesn't expand the player-pool of the Kami Band and feature the KB more-they are the "metal" of Babymetal, after all-instead of often drowning them out with backing tracks and rendering them anonymous in name and appearance. Hal-Ca is a KB choice screaming (or shredding) to be made. Assuming she would be interested, and personally I think she would gladly accept, as she could still do Asterism.

Last night's concert in Yokohama was a great show! The new BABYMETAL has announced a world tour that will finalize in Japan in 2024! Maybe they will come to your place too! Enjoy the powered-up BABYMETAL LIVE 😊. Of course the band is still alive and well, playing as heavy as ever! Rest assured 😁.

Especially on Sunday they played Iine as the third song! The costumes changed to beautiful and elegant ones that shone in rainbow colors when the lights hit them. all 3 of them looked so happy performing. We had a very happy time too😁.

This 2-day live show represented death and rebirth. When the first song on the first day, THE LEGEND was performed by just SU and MOA, YUI was there, though I couldn't see her.... The past three have been LEGEND... I will never see them again 🥺😭. And the cheers were so impressive when the 3 of them appeared on the 3 thrones in the first song METAL KINGDOM on the 2nd day and MOMO-METAL's hair and headset appeared on the monitor 😭 that doesn't mean MOMO was the only new member. It means that they are the 3 people chosen by FOX GOD again. There are two with the same name, but all three are the new BABYMETAL. Congratulations 😁😁😁.

This one sounded great at PIA Arena in Yokohama on the weekend. The western Kami did a great job playing this crazy song live. It was a hell of a show, especially Clear Night.

The metal resistance has officially ended and now babymetal will journey thru the metalverse!😊 Oh and for the babymetal begins show at PIA arena, the western kami accompanied them as a warmup for their support tour in europe for sabaton.😊 barone was a beast in the drums as usual😂

Great reaction and I was sure you are going to like it. It wasn’t my favourite at first but now it really grew on me and now it is defo in my top 3 of the album! I think Koba was trolling everyone with the first single releases and saved the best for last. Wait until you hear Metalizm! The album is defo a banger and I can’t wait to see them live in May! ❤️🤘🔥🦊 Almost forgot, congratulations to Momoko for becoming Momometal, well deserved! Btw wowow will be broadcasting the last 2 shows in June and July :)

I got exposed to this song live on the Fox Day at Pia Arena MM Yokohama. Blown away, heaviest metal!!, as heavy as, say, Sis Anger!! The official lyric video is really something, but it was quite another thing live. The difference may be, I felt, like listening to Buddha’s words directly, or reading Buddhist Scriptures! Must go to LIVE!!!

Bands can be heavy if they want, but if it's heavy and melodic, that's where the real gems are. 🙂 Yes, surprisingly: all songs from the new album have been performed live in the 4 shows from January and April combined ! The 2 in January had the same setlist and the ones in April were Black Night (technically the death of the old Babymetal) and Clear Night (the birth of a new Babymetal, with even a new member and new logo and updated clothes).

@@GlassMoonGaming When Babymetal got started a Japanese magazine writer/editor started a new magazine called: Hedoban. He noticed that existing metal magazines didn't want to write about some idol group doing metal and other media also were not interested in Babymetal. But he thought their is something interesting going on, so he started a new magazine because of it. He was at these 2 shows this weekend and posted on Twitter (he obviously has years of experience in the music industry): this was the most perfect show I've ever seen. (now I agree he's probably a bit bias ;-) But it's clear Babymetal are doing a lot right. And a large part of that starts with Kobametal and his years of experience. And then Amuse, now Babymetal has a budget, can deliver him some of the best experts in each field, from sound, lighting, etc.

excellent content GMoon-Metal, I have already preordered the Makahari shows and yes the WoWoW broadcast of it was awesome, minus GC and DDM, the video of it is floating around on the web, the Reactors Resource has Divine and Monochrome with the watermark and a link to the non- watermarked, so yeah those two songs are way heavier live, as for the Fox Day shows, according to friends there, it was awesome as well and I've seen some fan cams, and the mini cloned babymetal were there again and co-performed "Karate" with the real BABYMETAL and at the end of Black Night the narrator told a little story about a new Metal being born with a little trolling about the future and then finally gave the roll call of the members "Vocal&Dance: SU-METAL ....Scream&Dance: MOAMETAL ...Scream&Dance: MOMOMETAL and at that moment the cries of the Yui stans were drowned out by the roarest ovation, they played the rest of the songs on the album and then Clear Night, we got what BABYMETAL is for this next year of touring, a great mix of the songs on the new album, and brought back "IINE" and original BMD with MOMO saying her new name, so both of these shows were very different so they are going to show both shows in theaters in June, July, and then Blu-Ray.

Nice reaction. Babymetal br br bring the metal with this song. Prog metal and a few other styles along with it. Because it's Babymetal of course they had to have multiple genres in there. I want to hear that heavy break when they do this live. Lots more metal coming your way from this album. It seems they have been working of a few of these songs for some time now. Which makes me think that maybe another album is waiting in the wind with Momoko singing on it. Now that she has a mic. We will get to hear her sing for the rest of the tour. Yeah. The avenger dancer thing has to be the longest try out ever. lol Now I'm really looking forward to whatever Babymetal does next. Like an unplugged show would be really cool. Mind blowing really. Could they really get them to sit or stand still for a whole concert? Or would they do the choreography while unplugged. Only time will tell, if it ever happens.

Great reaction (as ususal 🙂) When I first heard this song I was a bit put off by the heaviness and the breakdown and the Prog elements (all things I won't listen to outside of BM songs) but after a few more listens I love "Mirror mirror" now. There's so much going on, and the lyric video is once again crafted with a lot of focus in details. Just great stuff.

I agree with you in everything. There is no anxiety at all about the new BABYMETAL with the addition of MOMO, and it shows a new world just like the song. I was convinced that I participated in the live performance of Pia Arena. However, I'm sad as a YUI fan.

I can't wait for you to see the Babymetal returns concert. The songs are even better live, like usual. Su's vocals and the guitars are all more forward. There's not one song on this album that I don't like. Also, their performance of Monochrome at the show was so awesome.
