Now can we all agree that this is there best yet!? Like BABYMONSTER didn't come to play with this song I like how they showcase all there skills from dance (chiquita solo dance break iconic!!), vocal (the high notes adlibs like chefs kiss) rap (as always. j-line never disappoints plus ahyeon) and also the visuals (btw they look expensive here). It's great to see how YG expanding there sound which is for me really effective to see how these girls are versatile with any concept. The fact that these song last 3 minutes long is perfect like it's rare to see this type of duration in a kpop song in this generation. Also these song feels nostalgic yet has freshness to it which reminds me a lot of 2nd gen kpop era. Overall, this song is amazing manifesting we will get another banger like this in the future because for me it suits them a lot than SHEESH.

You're right they should start like this! i love the line distribution here where ahyeon gets separated to asa and ruka rap part, but ahyeon still have a rap part too thats a good idea coz she also sings here, it feels complete and coz all of them showcase each skills ❤️

Absolutely not. Their showcasing of skill needs to built up. And they wouldn't trent with this for their debute. YG tried with boombayah... it became popular later after pwf.

that song now is abolute perfect, as a debute song it would not have worked. After their explosive debute, they gained so much popularity, but sadly jealous haters aswell and those who dont go well with that classic YG style. So YG came out now, throwing that masterpiece SOng out of nowhere into the indzstry and say: There you have it...they can do that too and upgrade it with the Babymonster style.... biggest flex they could have done. YG be like: we can do that anytime we WANT and with EZZZ, so dont mess with us and dont mess with babymonster. Its the best line distribution so far, but they should have made the rap from asa just 1 or 2 lines longer and they should have give 1 part from Ahyeon to rami, Ahyeon had too much parts and rami got least. And Ahyeon got more screentime during ramis first chorus than rami herself ( no hate to Ahyeon...in that way it would have been perfect )

It’s just said it from the view of an outstanding person and to make it a 100% equal line distribution… I wasn’t complaining or something, I would have been cool👍🏻and Asa was still hungry after she devoured her rap and left no crumps… be honest…👍🏻😂 And I don’t say that as an „producer“ with 0 knowledge that is just me as a listener… litterly just wishes👍🏻hope you don’t get me wrong I love how it’s done👍🏻🔥

The MV has Ive-influence cause the producer of this is the same producer, who did I-Am by IVE...and i love IVE, but hearing Babymonster with that Latin style at the beginning, the nostalgic, melodic retro vibe in the chorus, that insanely heavy and strong rap and the beautiful heavenly bridge makes me WOW🔥🔥🔥❤🔥They gave that concept THE BABYMONSTER touch and upgraded that....its so insane

The chorus reminds me a bit of Missing you by GD. And that song is one of my favorite GD's song. So it gives me nostalgia, and i love the way YG gives us (again) differrent vibes, because we know they can eat any kind of genre. ❤

Yes, it sounds like Ive's I am for the vibe and style because the producer of I am is also one of the Producers of Forever. Which makes us all know that BabyMonster can literally do anything. YG just showed us this side of them it's amazing that stereotypes about kpop groups are ended because of this song.

just my opinion but i think this pre-released has solidify babymonster's style like their prev title tracks are their style but the music and mv still reminds of bp's music (it's not bad tho bcs they're from the same label but ykwim) FOREVER might be their best released song right now. it showcase their amazing vocals, rapping went hard, visuals are insane plus the mv is also amazing!!

Actually Anthony, I've watched over 100 reactions and read countless comments and everyone is elated over the rap from all 3 of them. Most said it was their favorite part of the video. I mean, machine gun rapper Asa with Chiquita's fast footwork dancing next to Asa as she verbally mowed us down. Who wouldn't like that?

I'm happy their didnt start with this.... it's a unique sound that is reminiscent but not catchy enough yo make a entrance as a group debute. Batter up is like "move away, we are comming" much like ikon RYTHEMTA.., blackpink Whistle ....its sets the tone for YG groups... the basic yet catchy.

Até mesmo ir pro lado mais pop que o YG não costuma trabalhar no geral (sendo mais comum na The Black Label) embora o rap tenha sim muito a ver com a base YG.
