This gentle performance brings pastoral images of the sheep foraging for sustenance as the lambs frolic innocently (those high notes). All under the watchful eye of the Shepherd, of course. Thanks for sharing this lovely music today. 🐑🐏🐑💐💐🎹🎶

I think that Jonathan is the best organist of our day. I base this on both his ability, his transcriptions, and his ability to adapt to a multitude of instruments. Regarding the piece, when I was in high school band in western NC, we had to play at sunrise service at the Lake Junaluska World Methodist Assembly. Half of the pieces were Bach, and I think we really hated them. I did not discover the genius of Bach until I was a junior at The University of Tennessee. Now I recognize him as Tchaikovsky did. Bach is not my #1 favorite, but he ranks up in the top 7.

There is a particular app which can be installed on a browser to DL videos as either video or just as audio. Once someone uses their paid version to DL (such as in 128Kbps MP3 format), you get 24 hours to DL it too using a free version of the software. But if you can afford to, it would be nice to just pay for the app since it's so useful.

It seems only organists can negotiate the glisses Bach intended for the right hand of this piece. Yet, no one ever vets the tempo exactly to my liking, lol.
