I agree with you Arie. The producers interfere far too much. Their desire for ratings sabotages outcomes. A romantic ending is always the best. Look at the success of Love is Blind.

I feel like it was more similar to Colton’s situation but Peter made the WRONG decision. He should have done what Colton did.

I don’t think Maddi went on the show “thinking” peter was a virgin, I’m sure she KNEW he wasn’t... but I think What Maddi meant by “not sleep with other girls” was that now hes in a relationship with her , and if peter KNEW at that point that he LOVED Maddie and wanted to propose to her , out respect for her and what was supposed to happen in a couple weeks - aka an engagement- she asked him not to have sex with the other girls. I don’t think she was necessarily playing mind games with him, I think she just didn’t use the right words. Yeah he was in a relationship with two other girls, I get that- but I’ve seen that past bachelors/bachelorettes have said they KNEW who the wanted to pick by hometowns. So I ultimately don’t think that what she asked was terrible, I think she didn’t use the correct words. I think she should’ve said some like - hey peter if you know that at the end of this you want to propose to ME (Maddi) can you please not have sex with the other girls? It’s fine if you go to the FS and talk and get to know her better, but please just don’t have sex if you know it’s me. - I think that might’ve been a little better...

I don’t think it’s going to work out with Peter and Madison because I just don’t think he is that into her....if he was he would have never A. Slept with the other women knowing she would have a problem with it B. Let her walk away that easily C. Proposed to somebody else D. Needed closure with Hannah B When Colton got dumped by Cassie a few seasons back he literally jumped a fence then dumped the other women the next day because if he wasn’t going to be with Cassie he want going to be with anyone...Now that’s a guy who really loves a girl. It seems that Peter doesn’t really know what he wants. One moment who wants Madi the next he’s proposing to Hannah Ann and the next moment he’s trying to find closure with Hannah B... I feel he has ALOT of growing to do before he is ready to commit to anybody.

I was not your guy’s biggest fan, and I blame the show for that. You’re both such goals, and I love your channel. You both make so much sense together and it’s so wild to me that that never really translated on screen. Alessi is adorable and don’t listen to any hate, people never get the full picture with these shows and how it edited.

What I really want to know is why it was never brought up by either party that Peter’s parents had met Maddison on the very first date he went on. And they absolutely adored her..

One thing I do want to point out is that Madi probably felt very discouraged after speaking with peters mom which could have influenced her to take herself out of the equation and leave. It was after that conversation that she even started voicing her doubts about she and Peter and having different lifestyles and all that. I don’t think her intentions were to manipulate peter. I think she was simply trying to figure things out just like he was. It was obvious from the beginning that she cared deeply for Peter and I think she truly wanted the best for him and thought she wasn’t it which is why she left. She doesn’t seem like someone who would play games and manipulate.

I was a Christian when I met my husband. He was not. I was Maddy in every sense of the word. I told him I would not date him. He started coming to church for me, but he stayed because he grew in his relationship with God. We'll celebrate 23 years of marriage this year. Having said that, I didn't have a meddling mother in law who despised me, soooo.

But we did get the storybook ending with Aries season....look at you two and we love it! To note about Madi, its rumored she applied for Coltons season -which makes sense. Unsure why she said yes to going on Peter's season knowing he is Mr. Windmill.

No I don’t think he would’ve gone to her if Chris hadn’t, he reached out to Hannah B and not Madison if he wanted to be with Madison he would’ve went after her like Arie and Colton did for who they wanted but Chris went to her for him.

I’m hugging my mom and MIL tighter, so thankful I don’t have a Barb in my life. She is too overbearing and I fear for Peter’s future relationships. I definitely understand why Peter acted the way he did all season. Barb comes off as very manipulative and selfish. Plus she seems to be putting a lot of the blame on Madi and her son is just as much to blame for things that went down. Remember when Peter left Victoria F’s fam waiting and then left without saying a thing to them? YUP.

Peter's ending was a mess, nothing like y'all's ending. Everyone from your guys' season came out winning. Both Arie and Becca ended up happy and engaged, just not to each other. Peter on the other hand is in a, in my opinion, doomed relationship and while Hannah Ann is getting plenty of love online, what is the ending of her story ultimately going to be? Going on Paradise? I think she deserved better. Ultimately wishing everyone the best in their recovery from this shit show of a season.

Barbara’s behavior was out of control. No need to be so nasty on National tv and wish for your to fail. It’s just not okay. Than you tell your husband to be “ dile algo malo ayúdame” say something mean help me. Like did she realize half of America speaks Spanish. This season finale reminded me a lot of you guys. I love how supportive Arie is of Peter. Makes me happy since I know Arie knows how hard that was on him.

Peter need to move out from his parents home. With such controlling mother he would never be able to make a decision on his own.They will be his business all the time .

I’ve been waiting for this! I thought y’all decided not to make one because I didn’t see it. But Barb handled the situation in such a terrible light. She’s manipulative. It’s not her life, it’s Peter’s. She has the freedom to not like someone - as we all do but she doesn’t need to vocalize it on live television like that. Not to mention, the parts when she was clapping when her son was getting told off by Hannah Ann. So distasteful in my eyes. I have a son and would never treat him that way. Discuss how you feel behind closed doors or don’t say anything at all and let him make his own decisions in life otherwise he’s going to hold that against you in the future. I pray Madison & Peter work out.❤️ I love both of them!

I truly believe Peter's in a state of shock from all the narcissistic abuse he's endured from his family. This is probably the first time he's truly stood up to his Mom. You go numb because everything you trusted in with your family dynamics, is completely crushed at this point. He is crushed. Peter is in an extreme state of shock & will need time to sort it all out. He is going to church & rumored to have support of many Christians as he navigates all of this. Thank goodness. I am guessing Madison's family is also stepping up to support them both. It will be the hardest but healthiest journey of his life as he learns who Peter truly is outside of a toxic family environment. In the long run this could actually bring Madison & Peter closer together. But* right now as they said , it's time for them to heal individually. Then build a relationship. Prayers for Peter. My heart goes out to him. His entire world just blew up & he is trying to find himself. God specializes in broken people. I'm so glad he has a church family to help him through all of this. 🙏

I actually found this channel before I finished watching your season (I know it's probably weird to say). I very recently finished watching it. The biggest difference to me was the body language between you two and Madi and Peter. You two seemed excited, but Madi and Peter behaved a little off and distant? I'm not saying they can't work it out, but it felt so different between the two that I kind of hate the comparisons.

The title is right- I’ve literally been looking forward to this for days! I was hoping that this video would be like 40 minutes long haha.

I think if Chris had gone after Hannah B instead of Madi, the outcome would’ve been so different

I think this season was very different than yours! My analysis: 1. I think Peter knew what he really wanted but forced it with Hannah Ann for family pressure and show pressure reasons whereas Arie was genuinely torn in the end. 2. Also Lauren was more steadfast in her commitment to Arie the whole time. Madi left and I think nearly left a few times during the show. 3. Arie was more certain of his connection to Lauren once he realized where his heart was, he pursued Lauren himself (instead of having Harrison play wing man) and Arie actually proposed instead of leaving it vague. 4. Peter also reached out to Hannah Brown?!?! I think he really has some maturing to do. While his mom’s approach has received a lot of criticism I do agree with her that there are a lot of compatibility issues in this relationship but ultimately it is going to be up to them to navigate that. I think this season was overproduced and they were intentionally trying to make it look like y’all’s ending but I just think it was so different.

Love you guys for still reviewing this final episode even though it was uncomfortable you guys did great! Lauren you cracked me up making Arie squirm thru it 🤣🤣. Looking forward to more recaps from you both!

Peter made the worst decisions of any bachelor I’ve ever seen. I guess that means he is the worst Bachelor ever 🤷🏽‍♀️

I kinda knew that Arie was head over heels in love with Lauren when she told him that she's in love with him during their date and Arie just got up and walked away for a little. I felt that he was so happy and overwhelmed with joy and he couldn't just sit there. I think he needed to process it on his own, but couldn't really be too obvious and show it to everybody how excited he was due to the nature of the show. Arie - am I right? 😁

I thought barb was being ridiculous until she explained why they don’t like Maddi and then I totally got it and could see why. And the fact that maddi didn’t even apologize and just said well it is what it is kinda made her seem snotty to me.

I was upset with production for making it into the Barb Cam show and not a season finale. The entire show should have focused on Peter, Hannah Ann and Madison. They should have left the parents out of it.

No matter WHO Peter ends up with as long as he’s living at home or even close by mom, there’s going to be a problem! She’s wayyyyy over the limit for her role here and it doesn’t seem like Peter is comfortable with helping her see that. Peter, move out, take responsibility for your own decisions, and hopefully you’ll be able to see things more clearly.

I think a difference In yalls ending and Peter's is Peter downplayed everything to HA. Where Arie told Becka that he was struggling.

People were only mad at Ari for choosing BK when his love for Lauren was so obvious. Him breaking off the engagement was inevitable because he was so sure about his love for Lauren meanwhile Peter was never sure about anything. With Peter you can also tell that he was in love with the idea of having a marriage like his parents do and he sacrificed people's feelings for that. The woman in his love story were collateral damage, he just wanted the successful marriage story. Please don't ever compare the two.

No worries Arie. You did the right thing, and now you have a beautiful family. Keep your head up!

Love y’all! In answer to your question: NO WAY would Peter have gone after Madison at least not BEFORE the finale. It’s my opinion that if he was going to do it at all he was waiting until it was over so it would be outside of the bachelor bubble and so he could have some time and heal. He mentioned that he had no chance to catch his breath between Madison leaving and choosing Hannah Ann. I think Bachelor producers really meddled poorly this time and made it worse for everyone involved.

Peter wasn’t planning on going after Maddie. I noticed he’s so drawn to women that don’t show that much interest in him and are not all over him (ex: kelley, Victoria & Maddie) once he gets them he’s bored. Now maddie was willing to work it out and he didn’t seem to happy about it at the reunion and now they’re over. He just likes the chace and they put him on the spot asking if he still was in love with Maddison. He’s immature. Worst bachelor of all time from first to last episode.
