You can put your 3 Point on that joystick. You can even save that as a profile, so when you use the tractor next Snowplowing-season you won't need any setup, just loading of a profile

I plow quite a lot here in the German Alps, and recomand you a full angle and a higher speed, so you throw the snow further. And please, please stop going backwards, turn around, swithch plow to other side and speed it up 50%. 😁 Besides that, always a pleasure watching your videos!! Thanks!

Should open up the left side wing so it runs straight with the tractor will do a cleaner job and less chance to hook something and bend it back

Hey Mike, I turn off the down pressure on the 3pt and just run it in float. Between the flip back cutter bar and the float it will just bounce over obstacles. When you set the blade down the front will lift a bit just from weight taken off the front. I hang my 4000lb weight on the back 3pt when pushing if I haven’t got the snow blower on the back.

Hey Mike, ive spent hours and hours pushing an HLA on skid steers and loader tractors plowing factory parking lots. I liked to kick both wings out at like a 45° angle and just leave them, whether you have the blade straight or at an angle. I only move the wings when im going around something like a sidwalk , i will close them to try and keep the snow off the walk. Also im pretty sure you can put the 3 point on the main joystick where it has the rollers at the top. Not positive on that, its been yo many months since ive sat in the 1050😂

That rock reminds me of stories about man-hole covers in parking lots. Caused a lot of damage to big loaders back in the day, especially if guys were in a hurry chasing shopping carts 😬

Instead of backing up each time Mike set the blade up so you can easily switch the blade from left to right, unless you want to move the snow in that direction for drainage purposes of course? Infact I'll just shutty uppy 👍.

I used to move a lot of snow at my previous job with a 966F and a 14' blade. I would angle to the right for a few passes, then move over and angle to the left then push the center all the way to the edge of the area I was plowing, then back to angling right then left and then down the middle. Always moved material to the middle and forward. It worked well and it was fast. Just my two cents.

Beautiful tractor. You need a plow truck of some type for as much as you plow. It would probably be cheaper and faster. Keep up the great work I don't know how you stay on top of everything.

You might have a point about the 3 point front hitch being a little stronger than a mounted tractor loader. I'm not entirely convinced of that tho. You can pile snow higher with a loader. Either like a sillage pile, or by lifting it into a pile. You can push through a deeper drift, with a v Snoplow on a loader, because you can lift and move the snow up and to the sides of your path. Your loader is much handier to switch attachment, and is more versatile in my book. But what you have is working for you, and thats the main thing. FMS Snoplow made in Sweden I believe, has a video demonstrating this.

You better take some time and figure that blade out you should have a float position where it just goes down and floats on the ground just the weight of it hold it down

We have only had about 5 inches of snow all winter here in west central Minnesota & most of that came in a couple of weeks back in January. We have only had flurries since. We did get 3 inches of rain over Christmas. It has been way above average temperature wise. Going to be cold this week with snow on Thursday. March is going to go out like a lion I guess.

If that 3pt control has a float mode, use that most of the time plowing. The weight should keep it down, but it won't bite high spots as bad and at your pile it will float up with the pile.

Mike, does your tractor has the [ Comfort Front Linkage with Position Control ] , you can set 2 settings + a minimum setting, also on the (main) joystick. Check the [ Fendt How TO ] channel, there are videos for the FendtONE cab, search back for a year ( FendtOne Front linkage setting working depth ) and the ( FendtOne Front linkage Auto linkage & PTO control ) on the same channel, plus plenty of other great videos on the FendtOne cab.

this is what you need for making waterways (water runs) and clearing snow. just do not park any thing in the direction you will be blowing the snow. can throw dirt 45 meters, just think of getting the snow up into wind. it be out in the middle of the field

Instead of a flat pusher blade, you need one of those curved funnel plows that highway plows use.

I would recomend to use hydraulic float if you have that function, instead of using the tractor and blade as a grader. For snow plowing in general is more or less the same as in the field, ask you dad or granddad perhaps.

I’m just curious Mike why don’t you open that left side wing right up as well? Instead of keeping it closed and letting the snow make a ridge on that side. If it was open the snow would flow smoothly to the right hand side and no ridge would be left from that closed wing pushing snow My OCD is driving me crazy haha

If you break the three point hitch pushing a blade like that Agco will not cover it under warranty. And yes I’ve seen the ears on that front casting sheared clear off

the air filter cleaning is a new thing on 900 Gen 7's & 1000 Gen 3's. basically the regular airway in gets closed. there is a little extra air compressor, that pushes short hard blast of air in the opposite direction of the regular airflow. pushing the dirt out of the filter into a different "canal" that exits right in front of the engine cooling fan, pushing the dirt out the system. according to fendt this should extend the air filters life time to ~2y depending on usage conditions. can be activated manually or automatically 😁😁

I think you should put the left blade in the forward position. now it is at an angle so that your slider goes diagonally across the ground. maybe it breaks off when you hit something. Other than that you're doing a good job Mike, keep pushing.😅

Can't imagine why something that expensive doesn't have adfustable shoes for the blade to ride on, Then all you need is a float setting on the hydraulics

Are you aware that bird poop eats right through the paint on most surfaces, rust then takes over very quickly. I recomend that you remove that bird poop just as soon as you can before you have holes in your paint.
