3 more Peak 75 hills on todays video...The peak 75 is a list of hills/places in the Peak district national park that i have compiled for my own pleasure, allowing me to get out into this beautiful area and tick them off, some are popular with walkers while others are rarely walked. Some i have visited many times and others that i had never heard of until i made this list...the list of places already visited are listed below...fancy a challenge? Why not join me and start ticking them off.

A blustery day on the moors. As a teenager I used to climb on the Roaches and Hen Cloud often but never explored the moors behind. I did have a circular wander a few years ago but not recently. Love all the rocky outcrops and those wide open skies.

That was a particularly scenic area. I do love to see the rock outcrops. Plenty of variety in the walk.

Cracking video, that's a great area and you hardly see a soul either. Spent many a night in the winking man. They do a classic rock night every month, it's like going back in time

Stunning stuff. What a day for it too. Those rock tors are amazing! Love that pint at the Winking Man Flippin eck Bareleg Hill - Bonnie Prince Charlie’s lot must have sunk up to their…. Especially wearing kilts 😃 I could hear the waves at the end - but mind the cliffs 🤣🤣

Hi Steve, lovely rocky outcrops especially where you had a bite to eat, can tell your loving your 75 peaks and can see why, great walks and think you would be in the hills than skeggy cheers nigel

Tell me what Les said or I will not sleep tonight! That Yawning Stone was pretty impressive mind and 13K feet high was mind blowing lol, that goodness that was not the case. Sounded real blustery but it was nice to see the sun out again, I was worrying incase we had seen the last of it! The scenery was amazing there and a well deserved pint at The Winking Man, a treat indeed. I would have LOL if you had opened those eyes and you had been at the seaside! Cheers Alan

Nice one you two. The Winking Man ohhhh the memories 😂😂 Monday night was disco night. Friday night was Rock night. Saturday night was disco night. I spent way too much time and money in there😂😂 The folk around Hartington pronounce it Grad Batch. But hey probably wrong. I will ask about as I have some friends over that way. Another excellent vlog 👌

Some bloody good nights. Used to also go to a place in Threapwood. Cheadle area. Absolutely brilliant night rock night was. It had 2 dance floors on two levels 😂😂 with a glass floor 👌 I will leave that to your imagination 😉

Hi guys lovely area this and looks a great walk those lovely blue skies have been pretty none existent of late but you captured them beautifully! Some fabulous rock formations and of course it would be rude not to climb to the top while you are there! The clouds look amazing! The 12 is great visually but compared to the 10 the sound and the way it handles the wind is not the best but you did well to keep out the way of it! That beer looked refreshing! Crawled under a fence 😳 Karen made the right choice not to climb the pathetic lump of a hill 😂 close your eyes, you are at the seaside…. Can you smell fish and chips 🤣 Enjoyed all of it but keep it to an 8 out of 10 Karen 👍 superb x

Just a beauty of a day for sure!! Looked like it may have been a little on the cooler side especially with the breeze, but what a day to be outside!! Our winds are still keeping quite an edge to them and seem to cut right through. Hmmm...I see where you kept the camera above the waist on Bare Leg Hill...glad you're keeping things g-rated! LOL Dreaming of warmer days to come...hopefully just around the corner for us all! Enjoy the rest of the week!

Hi guys no idea how to pronounce Gradbach I'm afraid. A fabulous walk with stunning views along the way. The clouds looked wonderful they look beautiful against the blue skies. The drink at the Winking Man looked refreshing 😋 we joined you at the seaside but was safer from our sofa. A big 👍 from us. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️

Definitely 9 out of 10 (not 8 like you both said), would have been 10 out of 10 if we’d been able to see what food/snacks you had along the way. Winking Man looked good as did the amber nectar. Great walk and filming you are both very photogenic (the camera bloody well likes you). Well done and can’t wait for the next film. This most certainly brightened up my otherwise erroneous Tuesday. 👍

Thanks Mike...yeah the winking man was a fabulous place, after being out on the moors it was a real shock to go inside, the heat was stifling and the smell of Roast dinners was not good...outside in the shelters was the place to be....the beer slipped down a treat...glad we brightened up your day....we have been out today to do another 3 hills but i will not put the video on for a few days as our subscribers must be getting fed up of seeing our ugly mugs on here....i am on holiday this week so might do a town tour tomorrow followed by a couple of walks in the PD to finish the week off...I will be glad to get back to work for a rest.

😂...Spelt Gradbach but pronounced Gradbatch....it certainly got a lot higher in altitude when I was last there...The more I watch this series the more I love it...The Roaches has always been a favourite area of mine and still go exploring two or three times a year, and my Brother in law lives in a cottage over there...My lads still love bouldering over there but I turn a blind eye cos it still makes me Queezy....Would have loved it if a Wallaby appeared cos there are still rumours...The Winking Man, Spot on...never heard that Charlie story...Great Research...You are not mad...you are Bloody Amazing....Great vid...Marvellous how a couple of pints make you think you are at the seaside😀...mines a 99 with crushed nuts...See you at 20...Cheers Les🙂👍

I have heard stories of Wallaby sitings on the Roaches a few years back...don't know if they are still up there...would be great to see one.

Staffordshire's no slouch when it comes to rocky outcrops Steve. It's such an interesting landscape to walk through. There are some off names around there - the Winking Man and bear leg hill capture your attention somewhat. Well, with seaside swishing going on it was a grand walk. All the best. Mark

Thanks Mark...yeah interest around every corner...yeah i put Bareleg hill on the list because i liked the name...it's pretty poor underfoot, never witnessed anything like the mosses up there in all my years of walking, Ankle wrenching stuff...just below the hill there is an old pub called the Royal cottage [ long closed ]...there is still the old sign hanging above the door, a portrait of Bonnie Prince Charlie.
