Love watching you working with the H&S Ultra 2024, the art work is amazing. I've had my Ultra for about 3 weeks and unable to use it, due to it being faulty Valve ! They are finally sending a new valve. hope this will sort my airbrush out.

Stunning portrait and great tutorial, I have an ultra 2024 and I toil a little with it, maybe the spring is too stiff for me, I shall keep going with it and hopefully, I shall master it. Thank You.

The more you use it the better the spring will get in the brush its a great one for a beginner that you can upgrade later on

Just bought some golden and it seems to flow nicely and also bought magic color liquid acrylic ink and wow just wondering if you ever used them can’t thank you enough for you content helps me no end all the best

Nice touch where you broke the two tone image with the colour on the lips and glasses. That Ultra reminds me so much of the Devilbis 63 with the body ring, but more modern. A great time lapse video.

Jens Matthiessen (the designer of the original Ultra) was a great admirer of certain aspects of the Super 63. Particularly the feel of the airvalve. Nice to hear from someone who has lived the history too :-) my first job was repairing airbrushes, and I had a loooot of of Super 63s cross my workbench back in the day, so I've been fortunate to have been able to work with every brand as a repair guy. It gave me a great grounding in really understanding what works and what doesn't! A good Super 63 was a very good airbrush. The interpretation of the body ring on this one wasn't actually born from the S63 - it came to me whilst thinking about improving our fPC valve, and then many months later a friend asked me if I got the idea from the old Sprite Major. Until he mentioned it I had totally forgotten that they had a plastic ring in front of the trigger! So maybe it had all been mushing around in there for a couple of decades before coming out on this one :-)

I found your channel after the new Ultra inspired me to try airbrushing after years of thinking about it. One beginners question if I may: I have the new Ultra on order, what is the advantage of buying say a 0.2 needle for it? My understanding was that a larger needle lays down more ink, but clearly on this video the brush is also able to produce fine lines with the stock needle. What am I missing here? Love the format of this video, time lapse shows the image developing and the settings are important for me right now! Thanks Rob! EDIT Just found your 0.45 - 0.2 video, that probably explains everything)

Приветствую, благодарю за поучительный ролик. Никогда бы сам не решился рисовать соплом 0,4 , всегда считал что оно мне дано для выкрасов больших областей. Не могли бы вы провести экскурсию по разным диаметрам сопл, что для чего используете. Ещё вчера смотрел видео с канала The Art Workshop, в абзоре похожего аэрографа было сказано что вы применяли шайбы для более точной регулировки триггера для своевременного выхода краски без люфта, не могли бы вы подсказать в каком вашем ролике я могу это увидеть, если припомните.

Hi ya you sol me on h&s ultra24 just ordered mine 🎉 now if painting on canvas is there any need to prime been using badger 150 but use it for RC stock car racing as you don't need a lot of detail thanks

Hi you don't have to prime canvas but if you want a smoother surface use some gesso and sand when dry
