Question: for the 1292 the test BI do you push the cap down, sterilize it and then crush ampule once it’s cooled down?

The numbers you are referring to is the number of microbes on a device, typically used to represent the sterility assurance level of a process. 10^-6 is the goal of HLD and sterilization at minimum. 10^-4 is considered safe for handling and further reprocessing. It's a little more complex than this but that is the basics
