We just returned to Y-Not in Sanford, FL after a longer than expected van trip around the country. Join us for a quick wrap-up of the trip sharing some cost stats, and then what's ahead for us.

We're Cherie & Chris and we've been full time technomads since 2006. We are owned by Kiki (meow).

That marina in Sanford is nice. Thanks for sharing. Also thanks for helping so many digital nomads. We are simply nomads part time. We love boating and rving.

I Guys, After we picked up our Oliver we went on an extended 5 month trip as well and we ran into you in Benson. Thanks for the Mexican Restaurant tip. We sort of traveled the same route and even stayed at Liberty Harbor CG. We are off the road for now while watching our toddler grand daughter her in Texas but taking short trips when possible. Welcome back to the boat. I just closed on my Bayliner 4550 today. 2 months of boat projects, then I am heading to southern CA...Cabo bound in October !!!!!! My plan is not too different from yours. I now have this Bayliner and a 38' toy hauler 5th wheel. Long term plan is to take the Bayliner down to the canal and transit...Leave the boat in Florida to explore the loop and the Bahamas. Since I sold everything but my RV/dually, time to save mucho dinero. In 5 years, buy a 45' catamaran and start exploring the pacific. Enjoy my Bayliner until the hurricanes hit, then put it on the hard and transition to my future catamaran in the Pacific. Just bounce vessel to vessel, storm season to storm season. Use the RV in between boats.

We'd rather stick with carpet.. just warmer feeling, and better for video work (sound). And all the angles and cuts of a boat is way beyond our skillset & patience.

Time to do that floor remodel for engine access. Don't do carpet next time. I lik e the couch color so I don't think you need to change that.

The engine hatch was cut a couple years ago :). We'll absolutely be sticking with carpet.. just for the sound dampening - we do a lot of filming in here. And the couch is in horrible shape.. definitely needs to be redone.

Just wanted to say love your videos and also wanted to let you know that I am a retired flooring business owner and installer...I have installed carpet in many boats over the years ....I live in oviedo for the winter. so right over the bridge from where you guys are at....would love to help you out with the carpet....let me know....Joe G.

Van and Bus engines are great... boat seems good so far too (fired them up once so far).

I’m here at the marina in Sanford, staying on my Travato…silver with NC license plate “NOTABOAT.” I’ll be leaving tomorrow (Tuesday) morning…maybe we’ll see each other while here. Your RV was here yesterday but was gone by the time I got up this morning, and it was after that that I realized it was you. I met you at an AGLCA conference several years ago, when you first became boaters…I completed the loop in 2010 and have been RVing since about 2015. I have friends that live on their boat here in Sanford…Frank and Terry on Krogan Manatee Frankly Terryfic. Just thought I would say “hi!” …Betsy Johnson, formerly on Rick ‘n Roll.

How cool!! We spotted your Travato an AGLCA stickers and have been keeping an eye out for the owner. Today has been errand day for us. We were Frank & Terrys neighbors during our first visit to Sanford 3yrs ago.
