Hii you lovely people!
Another react-card pick this month. I'm sorry some take longer than others, there's limited time in a day.
Still hope you guys enjoy this movie reaction to one of the most iconic movies ever. I really really enjoyed watching it "Again" AKA for the first time haha. I remembered like 3 or 4 elements to this movie, the rest was a suprise. So I'm so glad you picked this movie, Bernthe23! I probably wouldn't have rewatched if not.
Let me know if you love this movie as much as the rest of the world.
Thank you again for watching! For FULL Reactions:

This is an absolute classic! I love all of the little hidden gems you can learn about by re-watching, such as at the beginning they are at the Twin Pines Mall, but then Marty goes back to 1955 and runs over one of the pine trees. At the end, back in 1985, it became the Lone Pine Mall. Fun.

Hmm... the "hidden gems" really happen in 2 and 3. Since they made those back-to-back and could plan what and where to put it.

It took Gale and Zemeckis about five years of rewriting to get it like that. If you read the original 1980 draft, you can see a lot of the issues that they later fixed - it still would've been a fine movie, but not a classic.

The opening scene reminds me of my neighbors house. He is a clock repair man and has A LOT of OLD clocks. I guess most aren't set to run because I never hear them. Oh and the guy on the megaphone at the school was Huey Lewis(doing a cameo) lead singer of the band whose song that band was playing.

They certainly had helicopters in 1955. They were used extensively in the Korean War from 1950-1953 as air ambulances and for re-supply. They just didn't look as modern as the ones in 1985 with large spotlights.

If you noticed the mall's name changed from twin pine to lone pine because marty ran over one of the pine trees when he escaped the farm. And if you think about the events marty will remember the terrible 17 years with his new family and wouldn't it be weird if they brought up memories he doesn't remember. This movie definitely deserves watching it more than once. Awesome reaction you just got another subscriber.

"That's a nice car to get all that dirt in." It's worse than that. it's manure (cow poop, for fertilizer). also 18:00 "Do you have a permit for that?" "Of course I do" Except his permit is cash to bribe the cop. 18:39 the flask was supposed to have juice but for Michaels coverage they put real alcohol in it to prank him. The mall was called twin pines mall at the beginning and then when Marty comes back it's now called Lone Pine mall, because Marty ran over one of the pines on the farm.

Michael J Fox (Marty) was filming another movie called Teen Wolf when Back to the Future was being shot. Originally Marty was being played by another actor, Eric Stoltz. BTTF and TW were being shot in the same neighborhood, just a couple of house down from each other. Fox decided to go and see what was being filmed and when he was told he mentioned that he would have loved to have been doing that movie. Well as it so happens, the chemistry of the Eric Stoltz and the rest of crew of BTTF wasn't working so they fired him. They remembered Fox and gave him a call. He took the job but it cost him his sleep. Fox was working on his hit show 'Family Ties' when they wanted him on the movie. So they worked it out with NBC to let Fox not only do Family Ties but also BTTF. The only time Fox got to even sleep were on his rides back and forth from the movie sets to the tv studios. I think I read he was somewhat sick by the time the movie was done. but it was worth it in the end.

4:10 Yeah, but this is Huey Lewis of Huey Lewis and The News, the band who two songs for the movie, including the one Marty was playing here. So yeah, he's criticizing his own song here. 21:56 I mean, Marvin spells it out on the phone. He goes: "Chuck, it's Marvin. Your cousin, Marvin Berry". 23:17 You think? First time I heard of that show I was like: "What is this, a parody of Back to the Future"? 23:27 If he dies now, he never builds the time machine and Marty never goes back in time. But if Marty doesn't go back in time, these events don't happen and Doc doesn't die and Marty still goes back time and the whole space-time continuum collapses. 27:16 It also means probably good 90% of Marty's life is now different too.

Wobbly wobbly timey wimey is my favorite line from my favorite Dr Who episode. How many guys in George's school had the Loraine experience? Her dad said another kid jumped in front of the car. How was she such a dedicated wife to stay with George for 30 years with still nothing in common? She didn't seem like the type for such a commitment. Glad Marty sorted it out. That Was supposedly Chuck Berry's cousin's band and he he helping a guy out. Hilly Valley's phone system had to be outstanding to get an instant long distance collect call to St Louis in 1955. Wow Anna, you made me think way too much. Good luck and carry on.

Gotta tease you, and it isn't your fault. The guy with the slicked back hair, who said they were just too darn loud, was Huey Lewis. Lewis toured the country playing with his rock band "too darn loud." His music is what you heard in the alarm clock, when Marty was hitching onto cars, and at the auditions. Sneaky little cameo the director gave to Huey Lewis. No way you'd recognize him because you're too young, but it made everyone in the movie theater laugh.

I miss the 1980s. I was 29 when I first saw this movie in 1985 and had seen the Marty and Doc actors in 80s TV sitcoms. Fox was in "Family Ties" as a Republican conservative college kid living with his 2 sisters and their liberal, ex-hippie parents. He was still in that show, you may have read, when recruited for BTF to replace Eric Stoltz, who had filmed some scenes but was considered by Spielberg and Zemeckis, based on early footage, to be wrong for the part. Fox didn't get much sleep in those days and reportedly got confused occasionally about what he was filming, sometimes calling his TV dad "Doc" by mistake in scenes that had to be re-shot. Lloyd was one of the cabbies in the show "Taxi" (circa 1979-83) His character was an eccentric much like Doc Brown.) The car that hits Marty reminds me of one my dad drove when I was a kid in the early 1960s.

Second, George Mcfly now has confidence and was not being a bully to Biff. He hired Biff to wash and wax his car, with 2 coats of wax. i 'like" how they made it to where it was a white man who helped chuck berry find the new sound he was looking for instead of himself discovering it. and yes privileged white men in the 50's acted like biff did in the movie

the only problemsi had with doc was 1 when the libians came to him to make a bomb he didn't alert the authorities and going back in time 2 end slavery didn't cross his mind . instead he wanted to go back to see the signing of the decleration of independence where it was stated that black people who were kidnapped from africa by white americans weren't considered citizen but were considered property

If he alerted the authorities they would have confiscated the plutonium and he couldn't do his experiments. And what exactly is your suggestion for how one man could end slavery?

@@jowbloe3673 And that would have changed history so drastically that Doc would never have even been born to invent time travel, thus creating a paradox that would have destroyed the very fabric of the space-time continuum.

Have you heard of opinions?😂 I found him both very cute and hot! Maybe not now in his older days, but Crispin Glover was a babe for sure. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve found “not typically hot” people attractive, I’d be rich😂I’m sorry you only can see beauty when others agree, you’re missing out🙈

@@AnnaLorentzen Don't be silly; you do what ever you want. I don't understand why anyone would do that to themselves. But, I don't have to look at it so there's not a problem. Now there's an interesting KZfaq video, "Why I chose to maim myself"!
