In this Episode of RIDE we are visiting Toby Hoad from Dorset Horse Logging and his Logging Horses who are working everywhere in England. He takes us to his workplace in the forests, where he is working with the logging horses, and explains to us what it is to work with just horse- and manpower. Are those blue flowers (blue bells) native to England? We have them in Seattle, WA.

Yes. We have a native, slowly being out competed by an invasive Spanish species which hybridise with our own. In England and the UK, bluebells are ancient woodland indicators.

Heavy machinery can't get to places that horses can, they are way too big and they destroy the land + they require some sort of fuel. These horses love to pull and they are eco-friendly.
