I like the S over the S2. The S had forged trucks and a much better deck IMO; LED is cool but not if it makes the deck that much stiffer. New remote is definitely awesome tho.

Whats the red light at the bottom of the deck, is it just a battery indicator?

The Red Light Indicates That The Board Is On Connected To The Remote Control.
