Great series on the battle . I am the descendant of 2 highlanders captured at Worcester. I am the 12th grandson of John Bean and John Sinclair both Scots captured at the battle of Worcester in 1651. Both men were sold into indenture in 1651/52 at Saugus Hause Iron works in what is now Massachusetts with 270 other prisoners of war from Worcester. John Bean, John Sinclair, Alexander Gordon, and Henry Magoon were Scottish POWs purchased by a Scottish expat Nicholas Lissen and taken to Exeter NH to work in his timber industry. Timber was cut in the New Hampshire and Maine and then floated downriver to be sold to the iron works, milled, or exported to England. Bean's and Sinclair's grandchildren would later intermarry

Following my ancestor John Boye (Bowie) captured at the Battle of Worcester and sent to Massachusetts as an indentured servant.

@@discoverhistory7818 Just watched all parts of the Battle of Worcester...very interesting. Thank you. John Boye (1630-1719) like I said was captured and sent to Massachusetts. After his servitude he moved to Maryland. According to records he was born in Stirlingshire, Scotland.

@@RichKing12 the County the Royalist left for their ill-fated campaign. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. We always mark the day and actually set up an annual commemoration in Worcester in 2003. Please feel free to share them.

Hello my Husband is a Descendent of Daniel Robbins was in that battle then Exiled to America in 1651

Where there and small skirmishes around the Kent area in 1660, and would Scottish troupes be on English soil ? I have an ancestor who was placed in the care of Hucking village Kent in 1660 and his baptismal record states it was because of the Rebellion.

It's a registered battlefield, archaeologically sensitive, and potential a burial ground. The land is also private farmland, I'm afraid. Bit of a legal minefield.
