Early season overnighter up to Heart Lake. Way more snow than we were expecting, and had to route find a bit the last half mile to get to the lake. We got to enjoy watching a backcountry skier named Nikki drop into one of the gullies above the lake, with his two dogs right behind him. This was also my first overnighter where I brought my dog along too!
