We can see the peak from our front yard and we wondered if anyone has made that venture, now we know . Beautiful just beautiful, thank you .

McDonald has been on my list since before I came across this video, and this certainly helps keep it firmly on the to-do pile! I love hitting the ultras when I can and I love real wilderness even more, regardless of elevation. Thanks for the vid; hopefully I can use it to convince some amigos to come take this one on with me sometime. :)

of all the peaks i've climbed in Glacier Park (25+), this is one i never desired to do again. The view is pretty good overlooking Cracker Lake and opposite the Garden Wall, but all-in-all? It doesn't rank in my top 10. it's not technically difficult, but 3000 ft of scree isn't exactly an inviting prospect for that view. I'll do Reynolds or Bishop's Cap for much better views and much more firm climbing. i've done Reynolds 14 times because the view is far superior. glad you did it. glad you got to see it. but i expected more..... Siyeh just didn't deliver compared to other peaks thanks for the video and the memories.

Definitely great job guys!! I'd love to try that sometime and so cool Missoula has that area so close by...I did Stuart one time in the winter but otherwise haven't spent enough time there. This route looks like the way to do it!! Thanks for showing. Love your Kakashe video too!!!

This is truly amazing and inspiring. The adventurous spirit is just firing from this video and it really is so relaxing to watch, but also makes my feet itchy. As someone who has been struggling with a lot of stress in the recent months, this video really inspires me to get out of the comfort and make something out of my life again. Thank you and wishing you the best on the journey :)

Been there. Done that. Most amazing experience in my life. It was in 1980, before wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone, so it must have been coyotes we heard singing at night. The mosquitoes were nothing for us denizens of the Great Lakes. We should have paid better attention to the vertical dimensions on our map. We got as far as you did, with the intention of going to Gannett Peak (the tall boxy one). The horizontal distance wasn't far at all, but we would have had to go down several hundred feet, then up again, even more, then back to our base camp near yours by the lake. Too much. We only gave ourselves a single day to hike back to the parking lot (22 miles). Easy, because it's all downhill, right? Wrong! Every step was a shock to the feet and gave downward momentum to the weight on our backs. Don't do it! We hiked 2 days to get to that base camp. We should have done the same for our return trip. The pain was well worth it and forgotten, but never the sights or the memories of the exhilaration.

I was in Titcomb Basin in early August, but never got up onto the surrounding peaks. You got some beautiful shots from the heights! While we were there, we had a major thunderstorm roll in and outran it (mostly) back to Little Seneca Lake. It mostly just cooled us off. You are right about the mosquitoes, especially around the lakes. I was praying for wind -- any time it slacked off they were swarming. Still, it was by far the most beautiful place I have ever hiked.
