“Looking back, how we were young and stupid.” True, true. Most of us 90s kids didn’t realize this when listening to it as a teen, but now have to feel proud that we were kids of those days and had this great music to inspire us to find true love and believe in ourselves!

Fun fact- when this album came out, especially this song, I went down to SC for vacation and I was bummed out because I started talking to this guy who I had a huuuuge crush on. But it was complicated. All these years have passed, this song still reminds me of that guy... Who is now my husband :D

Backstreet Boys are as successful as they are partly due to their close bond and personalities. They support each other, their ❤ for each other is incredible. Even their wives and kids feature in a song - what a great clan! Kevin went away for a bit and came back after 6 years, and picked up where they left off. Very proud of them 🥰.

Never Gone was truly one of the best album the backstreet boys ever came out with, but the critics absolutely thrashed it to the ground resulting in no radio plays and as a result, Never Gone never saw the light it always deserved. THE MOST UNDERRATED ALBUM OF ALL TIME.

I just can't understand how these guys make this sort of music when they can have any girls in the world they want, what a beautiful song! Really can relate to it. Much better than music these days by boy bands and girls like one direction and stuff. These guys are awesome! Never heard backstreet boys until chelsea fc won the champions league in 2012 and someone made a video with one their songs! And usually im just rap and hip hop fan..

this song is very special to me, because when my father died peacefully on his bed last November 1, 2009, after saying RAIN many times, this song played on the radio, because my father loves to listen to his radio. I still remember I keep crying and crying while hugging his lifeless body as this I still song keeps playing.. then after that it RAIN all over outside of our house. 😭😭💔💔 and now I listen to this again. I remember him and miss him so much.

This, right here, is peak Backstreet Boys. Adult Contemporary, little bit of rock, traditional harmonies for the fans, dash of modern sound for the younger folk without sounding like they're trying too hard, very mature and comfortable. Darn it, I love this album.

27 years of BSB.. Been listening to them since I was 11 years old.. 38 now.. I still love them!!!

I'm a family man in my early 50's (late-20's during the 90's when BSB were all the rage), and I've always been a fan. This song to me is their best of all time, despite the negative critical reception that the album (Never Gone) received. There is a profound sadness in the arrangement and melody, especially the chorus, that just tugs at your heartstrings. And then Kevin goes and holds that long note in the bridge. Damn me.

Their harmonies on this song are so amazing. What an underrated song. Still one of my favorites.

Kevin just proved you don't have to have the " lead " or the "most" parts, to be the one that totally slays the entire song in about 9 seconds flat.
